Hello and welcome to another What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday? (except my workdesk is actually the table at the church hall where craft club is held once a month! This month we were stamping so I was in my element, and had a couple of birthday cards to make (one of which I did, but can't fully blog because the recipient reads my blog!)
this is my space on the table - ten minutes in! Spreading out and making a mess as usual...
Sneak of the card I can't show in full!
When I got home and unpacked, I also opened the post - some of the new Tim Holtz leaves, die cut by my friend Sam, because my one is stuck in the post - what a great mate!!
I did managed a second card at craft club too, it's not finished yet, but I quite like it so far (except for the torn bit where I didn't de-stick the masking tape and it pulled the card with it) Embellishments are called for now!
Thanks as always to fellow desker, BJ for the lift home because, just for a change, it was raining at going home time!!
Next month we're doing messy play - sprays and journal type work, so will be making a special effort to go again!
Hope you have a great day/week and I'll catch as many of you as I can.

Hi Helen, love the desk, oops silly me I was sitting right next to you - LOL. Only just done my post, yawn. Really must go to bed NOW! Night Night BJ#?
I was so happy to read that you and BJ are in the same craft club. And getting a ride home was an added bonus. I can only imagine what fun the two of you had.
Those stamps are amazing, and I really like the butterfly. I could NOT tell where the tape lifted the paper, but I will take your word for it. It is beautiful, regardless.
Happy WOYWW. As you probably guessed, I have no number yet.
Oh what fun you and BJ must have together! I didn't spot where the tape lifted the paper either.
I really like the image of the three fellas, reminds me of the ad for The Jersey Boys play.
No # yet, waiting on you know who.

forgot to add I didn't sleep well either. Must have been the raffle!
Craft club sounds like fun! I sometimes feel like I run my own -lol-its nice to share all our crafty activities isn't it - well it keeps me out of mischief anyway. x Jo
Wot, rain in England! Never! Terrible weather all over the place it seems, but I'd rather have cold than floods. Love the butterfly card, nice to get out and meet up with like minded peeps. Hope your post arrives soon, ours has been suspended because of the cold.
Hugs

I didn't think the club desk was too bad, actually! Glad you had fun with BJ as well. It will be good to see you at the Crop again, be here before you know it!
Hugs, LLJ 2 xx
Sounds fun, no one does that round here or if they do it's all stuffy posh ladies!! Hope to see you at the crop?! I will be there, even if I have to use my w/chair, I know someone will push me around!! (Hoping to bring Debs and/or Lisa) Take care. Zo xx 90
What fun, would like a local craft club never mind someone to go with!! Wondered if I was in the wrong place when I saw we were actually at a desk (tease). Love that butterfly and you may have to bring some of those new TH leaves to the crop for me....... Happy WOYWW Cindy #46

Oops, sorry about that, blogger playing silly bs!!
Those cards are looking great. I'm glad you had a lovely evening - and that you didn't get wet on the way home.
Looks like you have great in there! I can't see where the tape pulled, it does look a gorgeous card :-) Looking forward to seeing what you do in your journal at the next one!
great desk - what fun that you craft with BJ - I am in her online group. Happy WOYWW Anne x #40
great looking works in progress. I just recieved the new Tim Holtz strip die of all the leaves and sprigs etc today. Looking forward to playing with it. Thanks for sharing. Vickie #104
Hi Helen
you have a great looking desk for us today for us to have a poke around on. I love the card with the big moth/butterfly on it. Sometimes a stamped image is all you need if you get that stamping done right
Have a great WOYWW today and enjoy the rest of your week

How good to have a fellow WOYWWer at the same club. Love that stamp that is sort of scrolls and like an illuminated letter.
Great post too.
Enjoy!
Hugs, Neet xx
Hi Helen, love all your pictures, the one you can't show in full looks amazing.I really like the shadow stamping one too. What would we do without layers & embellishments, eh? Hide a multitude of sins that way. Have a great week, Hugs Shaz #93 xx
You are so lucky to have a local craft club. There just does not seem to be anything round here. Thank you for your visit and lovely comment. xx Maggie #24
Hi Helen
Oh my goodness you are working on a table he he. love that butterfly stamp, it is fun to craft with good friends. I don't think I will be coming to the next crop as DD3 is getting married the next day. I will probably be shopping for an out fit Agh!
thanks for your visit
janet
Sounds like my kind of club! Wish I could come too.
Lovely card.
Happy belated WOYWW!

I love the butterfly card, the way it escapes the confines of the background square. Beautiful.
Thank you for stopping by.
Happy WOYWW

Looks like a fun and productive time... I'm not sure I'm a social crafter (I'm not sure I'm a very social human being sometimes!!) - I'd find it hard to get into the flow, I think!
Love the butterfly - look forward to seeing what flutters down next to him!

I have documentary evidence of my own that you 'work well at a desk', so I'm not surprised to see your craft club surface...or the spreading out..it's natural to us stampers! I can't see the surface tear, but really like the big old shadow stamp style background for the butterfly...or is it a month! I read that BJ is threatening to come to the crop..do encourage her!!
LOL! On a desk? Well done! Love that butterfly and how it extends outside the box, as it were. You always do lovely stuff (when you aren't showing shopping to tempt me LOL!) It's been AGES since I managed to get away to a crop of the local cardmaking session at the library. I really must make the time now things are settling down again after the holidays. Happy Monday :)
{sigh} now DS-less and catching up
