WOYWW 239 - Happy New Year!

I'm writing this on Tuesday evening as usual, this week it's New Year's Eve, so I'd like to wish you all a very Happy and Healthy, New Year. I hope 2014 brings you everything you hope for.  A big thank you and the happiest of greetings, goes to Julia for continuing to run this happy blog hop each Wednesday. Check the details at the Stamping Ground

I got home from Christmas at my brother's to find the ceiling still intact, thank goodness - thanks for all your positive thinking!!  I had hoped to have some new stash to show you today but it's still in transit to me, so you'll have to wait for that... so I share my Christmas crafty goodies from my brother and sister-in-law who is also a crafter so knows me well!
printed canvas, Prima stamps and some Kraft paper. I'm already having fun with the big tree (which is by Donna Downey for Prima).

this is my craft space tonight (or yesterday by the time you get here) - new year goodies - in fact the shortbread is all gone now! The chocolates were another Christmas present. I've never been a big NYE party person so am staying home and will watch the fireworks on tv (in the dry, and warm, ha ha!) before going to bed.
Had to have a bit of a re-organisation after moving some stuff out of the living room over Christmas, in case the ceiling came down, some of it went back in a different place - not that you'll probably remember! Still not sure whether to leave what is elsewhere, elsewhere!!

Happy New Year to you, and I will try to get to your desks before I go back to work on Thursday!

It's just after midnight in your world, so I hope you're awake to welcome the new year in.

Gotta love all the goodies from your family. Yep, I see they know you well. Thanks for letting us know.

I hope you have a wonderful 2014. I look forward to many more Wednesdays (and more) with you. Happy New Year.

A very happy new year to you! You were wise to stay in. What must be the beginning of the next set of floods where I live started last night - we'd been st in the pub garden dealing with the cold temperature for all of an hour. At least it gave us the excuse to go in and stay warm. Good work on snaffling the shortbread. Now to get on with the choc-choc. Al the best, Lucy #28 x

ps if I was superstitious I would not be flying - apart from the heart problem I then had a sore throat, now am full of a cold and to crown it all, today found out the airline have changed our seats from the ones we booked. A bit Bah Humbug today!

Not sure if I clicked the red button (cancel) or not so writing again in case.
Glad you got home to a safe house - hope you get the ceiling sorted soon. Lovely gifts and more stash to come - look forward to seeing it all.

Happy New Year Helen, I celebrated at home with DD and her BF was good, but I was still on burn out from working over christmas at the Ashes Test but all good now.

I was a little in shock to hear you moved some stuff to another location and sorted, wow impressive and to find the roof had not caved in another surprise. Be careful, you really could jinx yourself.

Great stash all will be put to good use I am sure.

It's the likes of you that make this blog hop what it is gal, and that's the fact. So so glad that the ceiling hasn't caused any major works, what a relief. and am very jealous that you can eat shortbread and chocolate without a twinge of guilt! Enjoy your new stash, I must say the printed canvas could speak to me. A bit!!happy happy new year.

Well, so glad the roof did not cave in and read the story below what blessing you were able to get it fixed on Christmas eve! I pray it stays dry over your way for you - inside at least!
