WOYWW 241

Can't believe it's Wednesday again and time for another WOYWW. Report to Julia for all the details (just in case you've been on a different planet and don't know what WOYWW is...)

Today I can show you the new things that I was waiting for last week - the jumbo Tim Holtz tattered floral die (the large flower is a whopping 5 inches across)
The bubbles stencil is by Finnabair (Anna Dabrowska) for Prima and I've been trying to get this for ages, the paints and other bits were in a sale...(i.e. had to be done)

The tag is where I was playing with the distress paints, and the die cut leaves are actually left over from my DT piece for Dragons Dream which will be up later on today.

I'm coming down with a cold so dozing myself with Manuka honey and hoping to get rid of it before it's really taken hold, I don't want to be ill!

Have a great WOYWW and I will try to visit you soon.

It's always so fun to get some new items. Love the stencil. Tattered florals were a bit spendy when I viewed them so will see if I REALLY need them!! Happy WOYWW and Enjoy a creative week #22

Well dear Helen, I hope you are NOT coming down with a cold. I don't want you ill, either. After all, if you get sick, who will pay for all those new art supplies (grin)? You get the BEST things. I love that stencil, but I have found stencils are SO expensive. Of course, not as expensive as the Timmy dies. Bet you're glad you got them, at least.

Have a great WOYWW from # 16.

Good morning.
I'm trying to squeeze as many visits in as I can before work gets in the way. Thanks for sharing your little corner of creativity today. The stencil looks great; I'm tempted by the die too but then again after seeing some of the other new releases I think it may have to wait! An
Hope the rest of your week is a good one.d I agree, bargains can't be left alone, especially not Distress Paints!

I hope you're feeling much better very soon. My head cold really has taken hold and is taking some shifting [Atishooo! oops sorry]. I really don't like honey but even I have resorted to a spoon full in my hot ribena.

Hi Helen, it's lovely to be back after a couple of weeks of hecticness due to you know what and life outside of that! Do hope the honey works and that you don't fall ill! The tattered floral of 5 inches across sounds wonderful! You must have been so excited when that arrived - I neeeed it!! I've just checked on the ruler and that's well big! See you later over at Dragons Dream, I hope. Really crossing my fingers that your cold doesn't develop. Julie Ann xx#54

Lovely new stuff! I have been looking at that die but because I have the other TH Tattered flowers I don't really need this one - I don't make really big projects! The TH paints are nice colors!
Lots of hugs

God no H, you don't want to be ill..can the honey and take some drugs!! Am still heavy with catarrh and feeling very fed up with it I can tell you. Grrrrr. Anyway..that is a whopper of a die I must say....I am going to wait for you to use it least five times on things that I would use (cards for eg) before I decide whether it's a need or a want. So then, no pressure!

Get better soon. Nothing worse than a cold. Love your stuff. I am in two minds about needing that flower die...

Tertia said...

Hope you feel better real soon. Love that stencil! If it was on sale, then of course you had to have it. I think you showed incredible restraint that you only bought a few.
Happy WOYWW!

Hi Helen,

I can see why you waited for that stencil.

Take care of that cold. Hot tea with lemon and honey sounds good to me and I'm not even sick!

Thank you for your visit already! I'm slowly making it around -- and now the numbers have changed so I'm having to hunt for people!
Happy belated WOYWW

Wishing you lots of luck with throwing off the cold - mainline the Manuka honey (recommend it in hot toddy!!). Fabulous to see the jumbo florals ready for action - I also got the Bubbles just recently and to my shame haven't got them messy yet!!
