WOYWW #243 - pens and papers and....

...means Helen's been stash shopping again!!

To be fair, the 12x12 paper at the back I won in a blog giveaway for a prize from Snazzy's, for a journal page I entered a challenge with, but the rest is down to me!

you can't really make out the 12x12 paper (you can see some keys) - but they are by Kaisercraft and are FAB.  The Tim stamps were in the sale, the small Prima pad wasn't... the die is new... the pack of love heart sweets came in the parcel with the goodies - and I've not eaten them yet, since Saturday!!

but, you ask, she said pens... well following a conversation on twitter the other night, I was alerted to some Sharpie markers in bright colours at a good price from the Post Office - yes, really! - so they kind of fell into my shopping basket.. they're here on the floor, just above my journal  -you may need to enlarge the picture!
wide angle shot of my living room - it's been a while (and not done it before with the new camera - which I'm loving - eek, what a mess!) The pile of cushions are on the little stool  I sit on at the pc.. I need to change this set up!) I grabbed this shot in daylight for a change, just before I left for work on Tuesday morning, but nothing's changed!
and a shot from the doorway into the room - as you can see, not a lot of room to get INTO the room, lol!!

Well, this is neither short nor probably sweet, so I'd better be off before Julia tells me off... thanks for visiting and I'll wish you happy WOYWW as I realise I haven't introduced the post yet, ha ha!!

Although this setup wouldn't necessarily work for me, since I prefer to stand to craft, I can see it fits your needs perfectly.

Those new markers look neon colored, and VERY bright. Happy WOYWW. No number yet, but I'll be near Bleubeard when I link to Julia's post.

Would love to join you on your floor, so much to play with and enjoy, but once I got down there I would never be able to get up again. Love your miniatures on the wall as well.
How do you find anything Helen, I struggle and I have a tenth of your stash.

Happy WOYWW

That new stash is lovely - and sweeties in the parcel - how yummy. Great restraint shown, not even opened them yet?! I see this all works for you - and that's good - but at my advanced age.... if I got down there, I'd never get up again...
Have a great week.

Hi Helen, don't think I'll make WOYWW this time, as time has run out again and just can't seem to shake off bad heads on alternate days, but just wanted to stop by. I love all your purchases. I would love to be able to spread out to the extent you do - your home must be a shrine to craft and quite right too! Have a lovely Wednesday! Julie Ann (no number, as not able to play this week :() xxx.

Be still my heart! I would love come play in your area, but I would need a place to set at a desk to craft. I could spend days just nosing through all the goodies I spy! Glenda # 68

I seriously get it. Got he space, use it for craft ing, and stash. You can buy what you like (love the bright sharpies, I must say), and that's a great thing. What I'll never manage is how you do it at floor level. Man, I'm still not over it! Don't the blue boxes stand out in daylight. This new camera seems picture sharp I must say.

I'm running late with my visits today [well late for me :-) ].
Have had a busy morning playing with the twins but they are both down for their naps now so I'm having a quick catch up with my friends :-)
I love the fact that most folk fill a desk but you fill your floor space :-)
Hugs,

Oh, Helen, you make me feel right at home. It looks so similar to the state of my craft room. I did succeed yesterday in actually finding my desk and just enough room on the floor for the dogs to lie down. I also have a pack of lovely bright Sharpie pens amongst my newer stash. I am glad I am not the only one building up a good numbers of SABLES (Stash Acquired Beyond Life Expectancy). Have a great creative time with you lovely things. xx Maggie #2

Wonderful stuff. The key to great crafting is having a lot of stuff, and being able to find it!
I think they archive the online classes and you can take them whenever you get your internet together.
Thanks for visiting and the snoop around.

First off, let me say I love your filing and storage system....LOL
My space would look the same way if I HAD the space. I'm with Julia, I don't know how you can work at floor level. I would have to lay on my stomach to keep my back from aching.

Drooling over the new stash!

Helen, Helen, Helen.......I really thought I bought a lot of stash but you are very, very naughty!! Still, you can't say no to a bargain. I like the look of those leaf dies, they look a bit like the ones I used on my tag but they are ancient and I bought them as die cuts from somewhere orother ages ago. Will it go through a cuttlebug? Glad you liked the tag, I told you I work better under pressure, if you'd given me a week I probably wouldn't have got it done.

What a lot of lovely goodies you have there Helen! Both old and new! Just wondering is everything you need always handy when you sit on the floor? Or do you have to keep getting up to get things? I like to stand to craft. Actually I never sit down, unless I want to get to the sewing machine, which is not often :)
Oh, and I am enjoying CJS14, thank you. Have a good week,

Hi Helen, Just taking the opportunity whilst I can (my Internet connection is pretty patchy at the moment, sigh!) to visit. Love your craft room ... mine would be like that but for the EM, he has a way of popping in whenever that forces me to keep my messy side in check :) Taking vicarious pleasure from the sight of your new goodies :)) Wishing you a belated happy WOYWW, Elizabeth x #70

Ooh they ARE bright! Those papers look yummy too!

I'm stash happy because I unexpectedly got some pennies into my paypal (survey site I've been on for YEARS finally hit the payout total!) so treated myself to the Sennelier oil pastels I have been lusting after so am a happy bunny!

As always when you do a full room shot I am going to 'accidentally' leave the page open so Craig doesn't keep moaning about the piddly amount I keep in the house ;) Thank you very much! :D
