WOYWW - week 246

Golly, Wednesday again... welcome to another gallop round the workspaces of the world, thanks to the lovely Julia at the Stamping-Ground
So, what do we find on my floor today? (apart from a load of stuff that needs clearing away?!) well.....

an unfinished journal page (new stencils, new paints, yum!) post - love those hearts, from my mate Lin and a card from the postman - yes, I've been shopping again! oops...
the new paints I bought at Stevenage meant a reorganisation of my paint storage box... these are all Frescos...still space for a few more, just not many!

but I had to find room for some of the contents of this box (and some of it was just on the floor....)
This box is now on top of one of the towers of stamp storage... I suppose you want to see (I had to move some other boxes to the other room to do this!)

It's going to be a bit of a pain not having them right within reach but better than nothing!  I also moved the ribbon box from the other end of this wall of stamps, so I can at least reach them more easily now.

Hope you all have a great day - I'll try and catch up with you - or as many of you as I can - later - but I may be late home from work, it's very busy!

I want to play in your craft space just ONCE and enjoy all those lovely tools and supplies you own. You have the MOST TOYS of anyone I know. What a fabulous post again this week.

No number yet, because I'm visiting early.

Love that you can clearly see the colours without pulling out bottle after bottle (and face it, in YOUR space that could take some time LOL!) It makes me think a day of labeling is worth doing. I recently did a re-org on may paints and am much happier with them, but my ink sprays are just neatly arranged but impossible to know which is which as al I can see is the pump. Always an inspiring space.....

Getting ready for the next WOYWW crop? :P

An early Happy WOYWW!

Those paints looks so good in that box. I was actually talking to a friend yesterday who said she loved them (she has all of them) for the chalky matte-ness whereas I don't know if I would fully appreciate that as I varnish everything. Hmmm. Might have to stick with my Liquitex but ogle yours from afar :P

Oh Helen, I have Fresco paint envy. How fabulous to have all those colours to choose from. I love the ones I have but also love the Silks (only got one) and so purchases may have to switch between the two.
Lovely load of goodies, are you sure you have enough room to live in there?
Keep spending and stay happy.

Hi Helen, I just found time to squeeze in a little desking today! Sorry it's been so long! What with sorting my mum's things; PA stuff and being ill...well, I don't know where the time went! I love that 'Grow' stamp: I actually don't have it yet! There are so many new PA things that I can't keep pace, but you seem to be doing pretty well! A lovely collection of materials. Hope work isn't too hectic today and that you are able to do a spot of visiting tonight. Happy WoYWW Julie Ann xxx#52

Hi Helen, loving what you've got going on at the moment, you do know you have more goodies in your craft room than my local craft shop don't you! Tee hee!

Floor to ceiling slatwall shelving. That's my solution for your little bottles and wood mounts. The they're all on view. Oh my, the very thought gives me the vapours! I'm very surprised at your Fresco collection...when you mention a couple of colurs here and there for a page, you kinda don't think about how many that adds up to!

Oh the chore of organization. I'm finding that out - it's like a revolving door. You buy/find something and you do the craft supply shuffle!

Great supply of paints, by the way.

Woah...thats a LOT of fresco paint! I have been toying with getting a few 'cos they seem to take to any surface-but it looks like it becomes an addiction (as all crafts do!)...must be the paint fumes! :-)

All those lovely fresco paints...they just look yummy. I'm trying to be mindful of storage issues in my world, but it's so hard, because so many things come in so many colors!! Best of luck with your organizing. Thanks for visiting the Fun Room - hope you have a good week.

I love seeing how you organise & arrange everything, brings back memories (nightmares??!!) of when I used to have all my crafting stash in my living room. :) I've got to find new storage for my Frescos too, no more room left.

All very organised in your craft room now - I think half the fun of crafting is sorting through your stash, stroking it and putting it all away tidy again!!

It's such a nightmare trying to balance having things within reach and having space to work!! So many things I want to have "to hand" so that I don't forget to use them... but there are limits! The journal page is looking lovely...
