WOYWW 617

Happy desk day time for another WOYWW - the last one in March - already!   Our Shaz would be proud of me today, there is enabling upon enabling today

first up, my Dina Wakley stencils that had been on pre-order - these were from Art From the Heart.

Then some new Paperartsy releases - these were from Stampers Grove.

bit of a mix up - a Stencil Girl stencil was in my basket from previously but the wrong one got sent with the order.

I decided to hang on to it and re-ordered the one I had intended to get

I put in the second order to James at Stampers Grove on Saturday morning  - and received the stencils on Monday!

as a thank you./apology he sent the Carabelle studio one at the bottom as a gift!  totally unnecessary but much appreciated

the one I had originally wanted is the wordy one top left.

whilst I was hopping around the shops, I noticed that That's Crafty had some of Dina's new stamps in stock-  yay!

the Dina small (it's 6 x 6 inches) journal sort of fell into my basket at the same time - on Saturday -  and they arrived today (Tuesday, at time of writing!!)  what service

so, did I play at the weekend?

well, a little

I played in my Dina blue journal, on a white page.
Used some of the new stencils

then I turned to my small A5 journal and some of the Paperartsy stamps that came in February that hadn't been inked yet!

oh, sorry, one last thing to show.

Most of you know the lovely Debbie Rock from crops and facebook, and her amazing talent and her giveaways

I was lucky enough to receive one and that came yesterday too!

what a week!!

hope I'll be forgiven for this photo-heavy post!
there might be something different to show next week - no hints though!

Lovely gift from the ever talented Debbie, and such a lot of new stuff to show us. You had a good old spend this week.
That was so nice of James, he is a very kind and generous soul and I love the way he always writes a little note on each order.
Hugs, Neet 12 xx

You certainly have got lots of treats to play with Helen, I really appreciate good service I know times have been hard for some retailers. You seem to have everything and more to play with. There's not many places to get stencil girl stencils from so it's good to know there's a UK place to go, many thanks for that. Looks like you've had great fun playing, hope the long weekend brings more. Happy WoywW & Happy Easter too.. Hugs Tracey #7 xx

Love the page and the PA stamps. I am pacing the floor awaiting some orders of my own. Love your journal pages and as you got your stuff first, I'll looks forward to seeing what you do before I get a chance to play. Debbie - ah yes - I was SO LUCKY to get the first draw at a WOYWW crop raffle and thus have one of her gorgeous hearts hanging in my office - best prize ever.
Happy WOYWW….
Desk hopping on a sunny day!

Fabulous new toys to play with there and how unfortunate that another Dina journal fell into your basket? I do hear there is a glitch with some craft sites where things just appear in your cart and you don't happen to notice until you've checked out and it's too late. It's odd, but it's usually something you can probably, one day, use eventually... ;-) Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #3

Stencil city, let me get this right, they sent the wrong one (which you kept) they sent the right one AND they also sent you another to make up for the original error! Kerching! I'm still waiting for my plants for my pond......
Love your yellow page and your gift item. Looks like it's on a piece of old fence, now we have LOADS of those in the stick pile as hubby and son changed 3 fence panels last week. Oh my already tried out 2 things I have seen on other desks....BJ#13 having a moment!!!

As far as I'm concerned, Helen, photo heavy posts never need an apology! I love them. You've got some great new stash there. My favourite picture this week is of your gorgeous pages in the A5 journal - so pretty, gorgeous colours.

Thank you for your visit - there hasn't been any problem keeping the kitty throw secret from my hubby because I am married to the most unobservant man on earth. It drives me nuts a lot of the time, but it does have its advantages sometimes! I am also making sure that now things are getting more recognisable, I am only working on it when he's not around.

Happy WOYWW,

Good lord Helen, you’ve had a splurge! I of course like them all, but my especial favourites are the leggy birds and the complicated patterny one. That Should just about make it clear!! So what’s in the pot thing on top of the stencils? I really like the words through the circles effect on the green page, great bubbly touch. Delighted to see that you won a Debbie Rock original, aren’t they wonderful.

Hi Helen!
Wow... lots of new toys. How will you make time for them all? Well, maybe that's why you're at #10 this week. Was surprised to see you so far down the list. LOL You must have been busy playing.
Thanks for the stop-by. Always a pleasure to see you. Creative Blessings ~Kelly #29

Great enabling - I am dithering whether to go another month without craft purchasing.... am I wobbling?? Maybe I will take it one week at a time... Debbie makes some beautiful things, I just adore the clock I received. LOL, Gareth made a comment along the lines of 'Village? I don't think so!'. They did one of 'the choir' documentary things from our local High School. Happy Easter!! Have a good week, stay well, stay safe, love n hugs Cindyxx #27

HI Helen! Wow, what a stash! that will keep you busy for awhile! I love the big face - very striking! Nice to see some of the new stencils in your journal pages! I finally convinced my 86 year old mother to let me sign her up for a vaccine (which we don't have at all right now) and I will driver her to the appointment when we get one. Stubborn old thing! She's very independent, doesn't like anyone doing anything for her that she thinks she can do herself. She finally realized she couldn't do this on her own, so I'm very grateful that she allowed me to do it for her. My turn next, hopefully. And we are once again in lockdown for the month of April. :-( Thanks for your earlier visit, sorry I'm so late, have a great rest of the week! Lindart #28
