WOYWW 613

Here we are again  -  another WOYWW  - time to share crafty spaces once again with Julia

I managed to finish the page I was stuck on last week...

I found a stencil in my stash that just about fitted on the top of the page  I don't know who the stencil is by,it is one of a few I bought at Ally Pally a few years ago - craft shows, now there's a thing!!

(I stencilled the "d" and then moved the stencil over just a smidge and finished the word)

I wrote the words using a Posca paint pen and stamped the heart (also a Dina stamp)

I stencilled it again down the side of the burlap page

I also added to one of the other pages I'd started....

mainly added collage tissue pieces

on the denim page I used some figures I'd stamped previously  using scribble sticks

then there is enabling....

the trade shows obviously can't take place at present so companies are just releasing new goodies...

I have some new Dina goodies on pre-order but whilst I am waiting tracked down some existing designs I hadn't yet succumbed to...

these arrived at work Tuesday

the pink ink pad I got just for fun...mainly because the pad I got a few weeks ago that looked pink on screen is quite purpley so I've tried again!

the pre-order items won't be here till the end of the month

and the new Paperartsy stamps and stencils are from the new releases - I only fell for these - they had a week of new releases from some of their signature designers, but I only shopped once!!

these came on Monday!

I also arrived home from work on Tuesday (today as I am writing)  to find a letter from the NHS saying I can now book my Covid vaccine - hurrah!

That's about it for me this week,  happy desk day - see you soon!

You might not be the first this week but you are my first (ie I came straight here).
Without the shows I am relying on you to be the one to update me on what is new in the craft world so keep on preordering as much as you can. The wordy stencil intrigues me, (it is a stencil isn't it?) as I cannot make out whether it is a complete sentence or just words - will have to go check it out now.
Good news re the jab!

Every week I see something on your blog that I saw and opted not to buy, then I see you use it brilliantly and I am like Arrgghh! Love all the pages. and the reminder to check out Paper Artsy. I used to buy from them occasionally but not recently.
Yay to the jab letter!

Happy desk hopping' day!

It’s good news about your vaccine, we are moving forward now thankfully.
I like the facial images and your pages. I follow a girl on Instagram called Quiet Noticing - Emily Nooman and your pages made me think of her.

Hurrah, they found your syringe! Relief. Is it just me (!!) and even allowing for a little bit of movement, the stencilled word looks so much bigger vertically! I thought you had two sizes of stencil! Now, we’re you being strong or haven’t you had time to look at the PA releases for the rest of the week? Do you know, new releases and CHA ishness hadn’t even crossed my mind this year. Blimey, I’m so blinkered!

Morning Helen. Goodness - you have had a great week - lots of industry going on there. Well done finishing the pages - a good sense of achievement for you. Lots of sentiments to get your teeth into in your new buys - have fun. Hope you manage to get a slot when you book for your vaccination.
Take care. God bless.

I'm so happy you finally got your vaccine letter Helen, it sure is a comfort when you have even your first jab. Nice to see you've been so busy in your journals the big dream stencil is a a good statement size.
Looking with one eye at the new stash, i'm being very good only buying only top up and tools that I need to replace but you've reminded me that I have 3 untouched versafine clare pads I purchased last Summer, wondering where they are now.. must be downstairs in the crafty corner. Thanks for the reminder & Happy WoywW Tracey xx

I thought the vertical word looked bigger than the horizontal too! Isn’t it funny how our eyes can deceive us? The pages are great and work really well. Hooray for some new stash and for getting your jab letter, a glimmer of light on the horizon!!

LOVE your finished pages! I really like the first Dream page and then using the Dream again on the burlap but leaving the rest open space - really effective. Lots of yummy new stuff there too. I'm doing really well at resisting! Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #7

I do miss craft shows!! Yes as Neet says we have to rely on you to keep us up to date. I am however still being good, as I managed the whole of Feb without missing out on too much I am going to try another month without buying craft stuff. March is longer too!! I'm looking at your pages and thinking how lovely and tactile those canvas and denim pieces must be... lovely work. Glad to hear you can book your jab - get it done!! Have a great week, stay well stay safe, love n hugs, Cindy x #18

Loving the Masterboards, I often scan mine if I make some that I really like and then keep the original. There are quite a few with examples of how I used them at the top of my blog. The idea of selling examples on Etsy sounds like a plan. Have a very creative week and a happy woyww, Angela x19x

Another great page, Helen, and what a lovely lot of new stash to play with. I love the stamps in the last picture in particular. You're going to have a lot of fun with those.

Thank you for visiting - glad you're enjoying the progress of the blanket. There's still a fair bit of work to do but the end is in sight with the completion of all 80 squares. I'm glad you didn't notice the shadows being wrong on my card - if you didn't notice it, I don't suppose the recipient will either! That's reassuring! I think you'd have noticed if all the kitties were sideways on the blanket, though...

Happy WOYWW,

Your journal is lovely, I've got one of those books somewhere and haven't worked on it for an age, I might have to hunt it down. Loving the new goodies, anything to cheer us up in the current lockdown.

I hope you've had a good week
