WOYWW?

Well, for a start it's not a workdesk as I don't have one, (the dining table is covered in books that won't fit in bookcases, I read ... quite a lot...!! and the table that was meant to be my craft space is full of computer equipment, sob sob, do you feel sorry for me yet?) so I have to work on my knees on the floor in front of the TV in the living room.  You can just see the table leg in question, underneath it is packed with years and years of craft magazines.

Sadly the piles of "stuff" around the craft mat stay there all the time (that's storage, don't you know!), and I was intending to decorate this frame for a challenge but got sidetracked onto something else in the end.

It technically wasn't even a Wednesday and because I don't have a digital camera that will upload to the computer (long story, don't ask!) I had to take these shots on my 35mm film camera when I knew I'd be going somewhere to finish them off (see earlier post from Sunday about my trip to Kew Gardens)

These to the left show some of my drawers (the wooden ones all have stamps in and are stacked double so they go down to the floor behind the ones in front, which sounds a bit Irish, sorry - and apologies to all Irish friends) I kind of know which stamps are in which drawers, just about!  It's not the full picture though, there is somewhat of an overflow round to the left (first picture) not on camera AND outside the living room door are lots of boxes of card stock - colour co-ordinated for ease of finding card - but guess what, mainly these days I use white....but they'll come in handy one day, lol!)
The cardboard 4-drawer chests are where the inks mainly live, and various embellishments, mountboard, etc.
You'll have to forgive the tshirts hanging down in the shot (didn't look through the lens properly) - that's one of my wardrobe overflows.... do you get the idea my flat is too small for the amount of things I have?! I probably shouldn't have posted this, because it looks dreadful, but I wanted to join in with WOYWW.   Don't anyone tell my Mum how messy I am, I don't think she believes me when I try to!

It was also supposed to post at mid-day but I must have done something wrong - so here it is.

Fantastic!...Now YOU have some stuff! You must have lots of stamps, I wanna see in your drawers now!! So being on your knees doesn't interfere with the viewing pleasure of anyone else? And really, how long can you kneel for? I'm guessing you aren't a fat middle aged woman like erm...others..!Fascinating...

Hehehe I see Julia has made a mention about me in her comment....I'm certainly one of the fat middle aged women who can't kneel [I have a replacement knee and thats my excuse :-)]
I really love your stash. What a lot you have. Would really like an hour or more to rummage through it all :-)

Ha! I can't kneel as long as I used to (it's an age thing, I know!) and as there is no-one else in the flat , I only get in my own way - that's why it's so messy, no-one else to moan at me to clear it up! Thanks for looking.

Do you think we could organise open days like the garden thing. I'm much more interested in stash than flowers and you have some serious stash Helen

He he yes Helen I have to agree now - mine is an organised mess!!! You obviously don't have a tidiness freak living with you - at least you can wallow in your creativity because I always use that as a reason for being untidy - I am a creative person!!!

Oooooooooooh I'd love a rummage through that lot. You have got a serious amount of stuff there, wonderful! At least it seems that you can remember where you put stuff, which is a talent I sadly don't possess!

Ouch! My knees couldn't take it. My back barely can after standing more than an hour. Well, Helen, looks like you certainly have a stash! And I thought I had a lot.....lol

wow - you don't just have a craft desk or even room, you have a craft house!!! I often double (or triple) stack my books cos I have way too many, but at least books are easy to pull out - how on earth do you get the drawers waaaaay down the bottom?!?

Brilliant! I think this is the post of the week for me and I haven't even got halfway through the blogs yet! I'm itching to get stuck into those drawers, so if there's a rummage party going on please count me in!

Ooh, loads of stash just nowhere to work! You definitely need a bigger flat/house ;) Just noticed you're a Liverpool supporter - not that I'm a football fan myself, but lots of Liverpool supporters in the family :) I'm posting this at 3am - can't sleep!! Just had some hot chocolate so hoping that'll help. Don't know if I'll be up in time for tap dancing though :(

I think you have been peeking into my studo. I'm buried under paper, magazines, paint, glue and everything else that goes with it.
