GC - Lace & Fibres

Gingersnap Challenge launched a new Spicy Supply challenge recently, to use lace and/or fibres.  I couldn't find any lace apart from a tiny scrap which I couldn't think how to incorporate and so concentrated on ribbons and fibres.

I took a round chip and covered it in fired brick DI, overstamped it with T!m's alphabet stamp and found some toning ribbons.  I had the hearts left stamped in barn red TSS metal from a couple of weeks ago which I stuck to the chip.  The Stampotique girl is my latest favourite, I coloured her with gel pens and tied a piece of white fibre round her for a funky scarf.  I mounted the circle on a piece of black slightly shimmery paper stuck to a white card.
I stamped some little sentiments on scrap and added them to the corners.

This challenge is open until 7th March and there are some great samples both from the Gingersnap DT and entrants, do have a look!

Very cool! Love the colors on this one too! I have a hard time using Fibers as well, I just never think of it, I guess. Adds great texture though. Love it!
