Play Date Challenge - Black, White & a Splash of Teal

This weeks PDCC is to use black, white and a splash of colour - and I love teal.  This is such a gorgeous image to demonstrate the challenge.

I decided to keep it simple - I took this fab stamp from Tim's Rock Star plate and stamped and clear embossed it on a scalloped white card, and coloured it with a teal coloured gel pen.  I added a dusting of chalk around the scallop edges, stamped the sentiment and added a dotty black and white ribbon.

I was never very good at colouring at school - I remember when I was about 5 or 6 (and that's going back some, I can tell you!!) we had to colour a circle or a balloon or something - making sure you only went in one direction - and I got almost to the end before messing it up and thinking the teacher wouldn't notice.... HUH some chance!

I'm blaming the slightly scratchy gel pen this time....

I think I recognize the scalloped paper..:). Lovely card! I broke down and bought this stamp set last weekend, love it! Teal is a great, underappreciated color in my book. The ribbon goes well with this card. Great job!
