WOYWW 300

A warm welcome to another show and shame... well possibly show, but I have no shame... as you know!

these were the stamps that failed to turn up for last week's desk!  the two Dina Wakley sets at the top from Amazon, and the Finnabair sets from Oyster eventually, lol!!

Then, onto Sunday and Stamperama show in Stevenage, where I met up with loads of mates and had fun... and as Shaz asked on Facebook, "does that mean there'll be new stuff to see next week"...well......

a "few" sets of Paperartsy stamps... some Indigo Blu stamps, some pastes, stencils, bits and pieces... rusty wire and flowers .. as you do.

and because on Friday I'd seen some of the new Crafters Workshop stencils at Artist Trading Post, and no-one had any on Sunday, I "may" have put in an order when I got home (yes, after spending ALL that money!) for some of them...
see, I told you I had no shame...

(and they've arrived in time to share too...)

Now, to find time to play with it all... and then time to find somewhere to store it... re-organisation is in order I think... if you want to see who I met up with (no Deskers) see the post on Sunday night when I got home (here)

just realised I haven't mentioned why I'm doing this... in case you haven't visited before...it's What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday - week 300... Visit, share your desk or workspace, and have fun - it's a bit addictive though!

I can tell you have no shame. You are the POSTER CHILD for spending money at art and hobby conventions, fairs, and gatherings at craft stores.

What a score. I really want to play with your stencils, because stencils are SO expensive.

Looks like you had fun with all the gals, though. Some familiar faces, all from your blog.

Happy WOYWW, yet I have no number, or post ready yet (grin)._

Wow I am agreeing with Elizabeth you win on who has the most stamps. It's amazing seeing all of them that you own
I can tell some people would seriously love to come over and play at your house :) Happy WOYWW 300 hugs Nikki #1

Hi Helen
Another lovely array of new stamps - and stencils! Must admit I am getting into this stencil game a lot more of late. Suddenly I seem to remember I have some - now just need to remember that ribbon, brads and eyelets go on cards too.
Have a wonderful play with your new stuff - I would love to.
Hugs, Neet 10 xx

Wow that seems like a serious haul this week! Do you have a system for making sure that you get to play with each thing before it gets stored away? Given that I haven't got to any crafting in weeks, I am very jealous of you having such great new stash to get stuck into! Ali #21

The thing is, unlike some of us (blush) week after week we see that you actually USE what you buy. So I never mind seeing your stash posts, even if it does make me green with envy. And no, I am NOT a fast knitter by any stretch, it HAS been that long since my internet has been anything like stable. Seriously, since early JANUARY. But glad to be back. Also noted the "eventually" comment. I have to say that retailer is one that gets more complaints than any other on UKS for problems with orders. Count yourself lucky!

Have a Happy WOYWW day!

As you said - No shame but loads of lovely new goodies to play with and show us, I am enjoying my painting at the moment and resenting anything that takes me away from it. I do not care if it is not a masterpiece - it is just the achievement of doing it. Have a great week with all your new stash. xxx Maggie #20

Wow! That was a haul and a half! You need another craft room to store them all! But I can imagine why you bought them. They are all lovely, interesting and 'must-have'. I also like the stencils that you bought. You'll get a lot of use out of them, I'm sure.
Now back to packing my suitcase,

Things would not be right in the world if you didn't show new stash each week. I'm not allowed to spend money, so I do it vicariously through you. So keep on spending and having fun :)

My dear friend, I live the journal/painty/stencilly dream entirely through you and would be horrified if you didn't buy things I like!! Such a cheerful post on Sunday after Stamperama...I'm sure that comes back when you start to play with stuff you buy there. And re-organising....ack. Jus tremember that it gets worse before it gets better and one thing leads to another...!

What a haul - but you're right, time to play is of the essence now! I got a set of Finnabair stamps as part of a prize voucher spending spree, and have just spent ten minutes resisting the lure of those fab stencils... may have to give in to just one or two!!
