PA Frame - Inspired by Sue

Sue is back at Paperartsy this week and she has shared three gorgeous projects with us - I have kind of combined two here, as time this week seems to have run away with me!!

Following Sue's instructions, I started by stencilling some grunge paste through the circle grid stencil and stamped a little flourish (the same as Sue used, I think) into the still wet GP (spritzing the stamp with water first)

The top left was too wet so didn't get a good impression, I dried the stamp off a touch before stamping into the bottom GP I decided this would be the top of my frame, as it looks much better!
Then started painting - I used Vanilla as my base coat, then a mixture of Pumpkin Soup, French Roast, Brown Shed and Blood Orange, wiping lots of it off in between
I absolutely LOVED Sue's stencilling with Treasure Gold so wanted to incorporate this too - I used Aztec Gold and the border of one of my Dylusion stencils

I used the Paperartsy mini stamp for my middle image on a scrap of card, painted with similar colour paints as the frame, but allowing it to stay darker
Added some stamping in blood orange of the flourish round the frame, and some script through the stencil and randomly round the sides.

Thanks Sue, for some more great ideas this week!

The stamping on texture/grunge paste is a hit and miss technique as it is difficult to judge when it's the right time, I know from (disaster) experience ! But your frames looks great.
