Wednesday - it can only mean one thing

Happy Wednesday to you all.  I still think they come round quicker than any other day of the week. Catch up with all the other nosey curious likeminded folk here
My patch on the floor looks like this today. Some more new stuff!!   and a part done tag.  After I did the tag for Linda's countdown to Ranger U yesterday, I had a long piece of string covered in spray and I wondered whether I could make another background with it.  Here I've used the craftynotions sprays - I left the string on the craft sheet, sprayed Quince and Luscious Green over it and pressed the tag onto it.  It didn't come out quite like I thought so I added some more spray direct to the tag.  Not sure what the next step is yet!!

If you've been by recently you'll have seen I've been "gradually" adding to my Tim Alterations die collection and I found this plastic box under the dining room table (don't ask!!) that I thought would do as a (probably temporary) storage for them. Just wish I had somewhere to store this box though! Right now it's just inside the living room door where I almost trip over it each time I come in or out...

To finish, I've got a shot of the cramped space I have to work at my computer....  that cushion is atop a plastic footstool that used to be in the kitchen and is what I crouch at the computer on.... until I regularly joined in WOYWW I used to kneel at the computer as well as when I craft on the floor but it got too much! You can make out all the crap sorry, magazine storage, drawer units (full of embossing powders, glitter glues etc) under the table.    One day, I will sort this room out....
Ok, I will be round to visit you all as soon as I can - it may take longer than normal cos a) I am very busy at work at the moment and don't think I'll be able to get round any desks even at lunchtime, and b) there's the last couple of Linda's countdown tags to make  (she's off to Ranger U - I am sure you hadn't heard, lol!!! and c) most importantly - there's football on!! I know lots of you hate it, but I don't, so my evenings are quite packed at present!  See you around.

As usual plenty going on here. These alteration thingies of T!ms are addictive, I just keep buying more and more, lol.

Your craft table has quite the assortment of goodies. I really like the tags you've been making. I would NEVER be able to kneel at my computer, but always stand when I craft, except when sewing, of course.

I don't envy you sorting the room. It looks like you have lots to go through. Happy WOYWW.

I do not know how you kneel for any time at all - you must get the most enormous blood rush when you stand! I love your whole series of tags, this green is particularly lovely. As for sorting out your room - you know where it all is right? Sorted then!

fab tag, you need a fairy craft mtoher to wave her wand and give you twice as much space and storgae room, I can't see how you coudl rearrange that space and still have easy access to all that wondefful stuff.....clearly it is exactly as it needs to be already....

So jealous of all your Tim Holtz dies! I have just bought a Big Shot but have no dies yet :(

"gradually" LOL yeah, right!! Footie hasn't been that exciting so far I have to say, problems with the ball I think. Only Germany seem to have the hang of it so far, and that's because they have been playing with it in their league for the second half of the season.

Wow a very busy desk and person there! Hope you are enjoying the footie, i am enjoying more time to craft as nothing alse on the telly!

EEEEK! How can you ever find anything? I bet you just buy more, right? Am too old to contemplate crafting on the floor myself but like what you did while you were down there ....

Paula Gale said...

Helen - you make me laugh and cringe at the same time... How on earth do you create wonderful stuff in your craft shop, i mean place.... I recon you need to contact your local council and ask if they have any units for rent - so you can take your hobby and spread out a bit... when anyone comments on the stuff i've got - i always speak of you... you make me feel so humble and under stashed (if that makes sense)!!!! LOL

hugs

Paula ... good job Health and safety don't have to inspect our domestic premises!!!

Oh dear H-I quote from my favourite book "Rubber stamping beyond the basics" by Michele Abel."The only thing I can guarantee is that you will always need more room". I don't have a choice I have to craft in comfort now as the body won't take it any longer. By the way I haven't got the flowers---yet. Hugs BettyXXX

Looks as though there's some lovely stuff lurking under your computer table. Wouldn't envy you sorting through it though - been there, done that, etc.,etc. I think if I had to kneel to craft that would be the end of my addiction, Lol! The old knees aren't up to it anymore. I have to admire your tenacity.

Love the tags you've been making along with Linda.
