WOYWW 143 Leap Day!

Ok, so how many of you are proposing to someone on this Leap Day?!! Not me, that's for sure - there's only room here for me (and that's debatable, given the fact that I haven't got room to swing a cat)

Anyway, welcome to another WOYWW hosted by White Van Driver herself, Julia. Check out the hundreds of tidy/busy/pushed back/downright untidy (you pick!) desks (or gaps on the floor like here...) where we work. It's a virtual globe-trot each week.

I didn't do very well at visiting you last week, so hope I may get round more this time. Long gone are the days when I can visit everyone.

At least I can post some photos this week now that blogger/Google have fixed whatever went wrong last week... this time it's the comments that are showing up differently. I ask you!! (something to do with whether you have them set to "pop up" or "embedded" ...)

Couple of magazines arrived on Monday. I am going to have to stop getting these as I am running (have run!) out of room to store them...
Few bits and pieces arrived at work on Friday... played with some, not others yet!  Some of you have already seen these!

And I have been messing about in my journal again. This is Monday's work (depends if I do any more to it on Tuesday if it looks any different...)
You should see the mess I made in the journal with the stencil in the background - but being acrylic paint I washed it off and painted over it..
The cut and dry foam pieces are drying ut (I washed them out cos they were getting a bit claggy!)

Looks like you've got some fun toys there. Love that alpha die, and the patterns & stitches texture fade.

Happy Woyww!

Hi there, thanks for letting us peek this week and I hope the rest of the week gives you some creative time too. There's some lovely things going on in your craft zone! I'd be more than happy to relieve you of some of your somerset studio mags (Just to help you out, you understand!) I've just sent some mags to my mom in SA to kick start her scrapbooking mojo out of it's rut, so I have a tiny bit of space........ Love your journal page so far.

Love your journal pages - lime and grey, a classic combination, and works so well. am thinking of dropping my Somerset Studio sub as have been disappointed with the last couple of issues, don't know what you think.
Glad you got your blogger problems sorted as would be a shame to miss any of y our photos.

Great colour combo in your journal Helen.
Great shopping too, the Wendy V thing looks interesting and I love those wings.
I too am "space challenged" when it comes to books and magazines (the latter I have stopped buying as many of)but I somehow never manage to resist.
Hope you are well.
Thanks for calling to see me and thanks for putting your number, it so helps. Hugs, Neet xx #19

Not posted this week (got family trauma to sort through)but have a little time to spend on seeing what everyone else is up to. I don't keep all my magazines intact just the relevant pages that are of interest to me and then file in a large box. Saves a lot of space up!!! Hugs Mrs A.

Your journal's coming along a treat Helen and I'm thinking that I might have to get a copy of Somerset Studio now, the front cover alone looks fabulous.

I am loving your journal page and all your bits look such fun. Blogger is strange at the moment I have to agree ...but we will win lol. As for visiting everyone ...not sure how anyone does ...unless they read and type at the speed of light ...I manage around 60 ish over three days ...I once did the lot but barely left the screen for the 5 days it took....and my joints seized up too lol.

OHHH! I love the crown. It is awesome. Of course, I really like that journal page, too. Yes, it seems all the pop up comments look the same as yours now. I would have been here earlier, but I got caught in a tornado early Wed morning. Here's to a belated WOYWW from #3.

I just learned about this proposing on Leap Day thing when one of the girls at worked proposed to one of the boys. He said no though, as her boyfriend would probably be really upset if she married another boy!

I love your art journal and all of your new goodies!

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to reply, a bad cold had me down, but I wanted to get around and say hi before tomorrow's WOYWW!

I'm going to try that side by side thing using Linda's html.
