WOYWW 501

After last week's great get together for the big 5-0-0 it's back to normal....

no a lot to show... That non-resolution to try and do more crafting didn't even get off the ground... (good job it wasn't a proper resolution!)

But, it's Wednesday so it's time for the next WOYWW  with Julia  although I believe she is having a well-deserved holiday.

I did have a tiny splurge for the new year, Artist Trading Post had a new year sale and it would have been rude not to have checked it out...
a stencil (well obviously!) and some Stampotique hearts.  They have yet to see ink.  Natch.  You buy stuff... you store stuff... eventually you may use it...

I'll let you know!

till then, happy desk day and see you soon!

Lol Helen, 'You buy stuff, you store stuff, eventually you may use stuff'. I know that feeling. Hope you manage to get some crafting done soon in between visits to Kew. Sarah #3

LOVE your philosophy. Love that stamp and you know I lust for every stencil I see! Not playing, just stopped by.

Sales are everywhere - before and after Christmas these days and I too fell into the lure of buying. Like you, still to use but hey ho what fun when we do get to use them.
See you later.

Slowly moving into the new year is the best way Helen. January is a month of rest after the mayhem of the silly season as far as I see it.
Have a good week

Hi Helen, loving the stencil and the stamp is one I've had for a long time. I think we should all go back to some of the older stuff this year, my plan is to tet and air some of the stuff I've not used for years but we'll see. The CVC sales were good but the stuff went so quickly. Have a lovely crafty woyww....if you get the time! Angela x10x

Nice little sale bundle Helen, very useful crafty bits I love the stamp. I'm still waiting on some of my craft sale items to arrive but not from where you ordered from. Have fun when you play, the world is your crafty oyster!

😂 Haha, rebuking storing MAY use, Helen, that’s why I’m glas I live in Oz. Hardly any crafty stores compared to UK and USA. I found it mind blowing thrice times over there! I get emails from US, but mostly buy from an Oz site now, as found a good one at last.
Love the Look of that stencil so think it will get used soon!

Lol, you made me laugh with the buying, storing and using eventually!! AS long as it does get used at some point then it's allowed ;-)

Nice new stuff to play with, Helen! I am sure it won’t just get put at the back of the desk I mean floor and get forgotten! Have fun with it. I’m afraid I’ve still got loads of stuff I bought at a craft show nearly a year ago and still haven’t used, but my excuse was that straight after that I was really ill! Almost time for another craft show, and will I fall into the same bad habits, I wonder?

Your crafting and creating rarely does get off the ground...as that's where most of it gets done.....sorry I couldnt resist the pun. I think many of us are struggling with lack of Mojo....think its the time of the year.

Hi Helen, hehehe that applies to most of us at leat some of the time I think - I'm going to spend some time this week sorting my dies and stamps into new storage, hoping that will get me spending more time using them and less time watching tutorials on how to use them :o) Happy WOYWWday! Buying and not using stuff... I try to avoid that but do fail every now and then... that stamp, however, is too cute to not use it! Enjoy! Happy woyww and a hug from Holland. Marit #20

Hi Helen, laughing at that! I know for a fact that a shocking number of my stamps haven't seen ink yet. Not entirely sure I've got the right idea about stamp collecting, rofl! Love the hearts, fab stamp. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 X

It would be rude not to investigate what the sales have to offer, and also take advantage of their offers. Like so many others my mojo has deserted me. Hope you find it in the next week. Ani 14

I like the new stencil, I always think I'm unlucky that there aren't any craft shops anywhere near here but then at least I'm not tempted, except online of course but I'm trying to be good and not look, ha,ha

mt first thought was... YES, exactly so, you buy stuff, you store it, someday it gets used ( you hope before your tastes change lol)

Hi Helen, You'll have fun with your new stash.

I think I need to have a cull of crafting stuff I just don't use.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Hi Helen, I'm with you on the buy stuff, store stuff and maybe get round to using it! I could make a decision not to put away any new purchases until I have used it, but then I would likely need another desk to store the stash on! Have a wonderful crafty week, hugs Heather xx #24

Well-shopped - those hearts are fab. I should know, I have them... but, to my shame, I can count on one hand the number of times I've inked them up. Must do better - a resolution I'm always making! Hope your cold clears up soon. Mine is hanging on and on as a cough - bah humbug.
