A PA-Marjie Kemper Inspired journal page

Yesterday to round up a fabulous week at Paperartsy, where we'd also seen my good friend Kirsten debuting as a guest designer, the talented Marjie Kemper was back with a journal page using Lynne Perrella and Ellen Vargo stamps....

I decided to use a brand new journal for this, it's A4 sized and a Seawhite journal, with lovely thick pages.
I loved the bright orange that Marjie used, so I used my Tango Fresco, with some Autumn Fire thrown in too..
I put dots of Tango and a couple of Autumn Fire on the page and spread with a brush, then blending in some Gesso in areas, knocking it back with a baby wipe.
decided to use the same stamp as Marjie, it is after all, gorgeous!
Randomly stamped some of Ellen's new stamps over the page, then mixed some more Tango with some gesso on the craft mat and washed it over  the whole page and wiped a bit off with the baby wipe to leave some areas brighter.
Tore some of my tissue images as shown and stamped the LP lady on Smoothy card, coloured with Intense pencils and blended with a water brush.

Found some letters (Tim's Word Play die) in a box, randomly pulled some out until I decided what I wanted it to say,  (had to colour 2 of them with a black pen as there weren't enough in black card...) and stuck them to the page

Thanks to Marjie for this great inspiration, had fun with this page.  Entering the Paperartsy challenge here

ooh, and thanks to Alison for reminding me, about Our Creative Corner "Flaming June" challenge to use orange... well I think I managed that!  Entering this there too.
