Orange is not the only colour...

Afternoon, all!  I had an unexpected day off today and spent some time fiddling and finishing a canvas I started painting yesterday.

It's a 6x4 canvas and i have used all my Paperartsy Fresco paints that I have in orangey yellow colours - Autumn Fire, Smoked Paprika, Butternut, Haystack, Zesty Zing, Pumpkin Soup, Brown Shed... and a touch of Claret. I think that's all...!!
I started by applying Ferro paste through the Leafy Vine stencil, and painted the canvas Snowflake white.

Then started adding the colours I listed above, randomly adding until I was happy.

Over the leaves, I used some cut'n'dry foam and a little Inky Pool and Aquamarine Treasure Gold
The small script stamp is from Clocks 1
The finished thing.  I used two of the stamps from HPXT02EZ on white card (Paperartsy Smoothy, it is lovely to work on) which I had painted with Haystack and Autumn Fire over the top, using black archival ink.  I added Treasure Gold round the edges (I used Spanish Topaz and Aquamarine)

the words come from HP1105EZ,

I had fun doing this (once I abandoned the image I did on Crackly tissue, which I didn't paint very well!)

Fab colours. Love how you've die cut the images and coloured the edges to blend in with the colours of the stencilling on the edges.

Great piece and so glad you didn't abandon it just because you're crackle didn't work out.
