Tis Wednesday again! Don't they come round quick? (Even quicker cos I always prep this on a Tuesday night!!!) Anyhow, it's time to meet at Julia's for another world-wide peek at crafty places and desks - what have you been doing since we last got together?
Well on Saturday, I had a lovely day at the Ally Pally (Alexandra Palace for those not in the know) show and had a little (or not) splurge.... I had to, didn't I?! it was a great day and I spent most of it watching Lin and Leandra and their amazing demonstrations... and shopped...
I wrote about it here and as some of you have seen, came away with quite a haul of goodies!
Anyhow it's about time I showed you my desk this week, or I'll be in trouble with Julia!
Most of my new supplies have found a home (such as any of my stuff ever gets put away!) but the pots of Treasure Gold and my newest Fresco paints are still there, along with a big pack of buttons.
The tag is sort of meant to be for Hels' Sunday Stampers challenge but I'm not totally happy with it so may not enter it.... we'll see!
Hope to get round lots of your desks this time (but not promising!) - have a good week.

Look at all those buttons. I have to confess I've never even heard of Fresco paints. You come up with the coolest new products and supplies. I really like how you always manage to find new products, tools, and supplies and try them, too. At least they don't sit on YOUR shelves (oops floor) unused! Happy WOYWW. Waiting on Julia for a number.
Morning Helen, looks like I missed Ally Pally AGAIN - one day I'll make it there. I like your tag although have no idea what the theme is - LOL. BJ #42
Have lots of fun with your new crafty goodies.

Love the duo (Lin and Leandra) and can imagine you having lots of ideas now you have come away from their den.
Just knew you would have to spend, but then that is what shows are for. Love the Fresco paints myself but have nowhere near enough.
Thanks for sharing, Hugs, Neet #5 xx
It would have been rude NOT to spend and I went back to have a look at your haul, amazing! Loving he idea of that puff paint, I have some gathering dust so may need to see what I can do with it too. AP is just the best, sounds like you had an amazing time....Happy WOYWw, Anne x #65
I see you had a lovely day at Ally Pally and did a lot of shopping - all lovely stuff - I like your pictures of what the Paperartsy girls were making! Wish I was there instead of queuing up on the M25!
Lots of hugs,
Cardarian
I was at AP but on Sunday. Loved the big hall this year although it was rather confusing and right at the end I stumbled across some stalls I hadn't seen although I'd been there 4 hours!
Take care

Oh yes a small (or large) splurge at Ally Pally is mandatory we think. Your tag is looking good so far.
Happy WOYWW from the bears @#93 this week.
I am forced by Julia to go into shops and buy stash....*cough* ...ok, forced may be wrong, but she makes me, honest!!
Hugs, LLJ #59 xx
Your tag looks lovely from here - loving that shade of red!
Am seeing mixed reviews for the new hall at Ally Pally. Can't wait to get there in April and check it out myself :)
Love the latest tags. I can just imagine the fun you would have treating yourself to lovely goodies at Ally Pally. x Jo
I rather like your tag Helen.

Helen, I don't know what Ally Pally is--I'll have to read that blog! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh at #11
I love those wallets of buttons, I've got a large one and a small one, very useful. I had a look at your haul and also you lovely photos of Ally Pally, it's certainly changed since I was last there aged 10!! It was a bit run down then. I like the background on the tag, not sure the main image is right?

Missed not being down this time but hoping to make up for it at Kettering, loved the goodies you got and the tag on your desk. Hope you have a good week. Happy WOYWW. Gillian #67
Treasure Gold, it really is an evocative name innit! Good idea to buy assorted buttons for your own colouring..like the size very much. You are good with your time you know, I can't remember the last time I entered a challenge!
Don't know how I missed you Saturday, we must have passed each other. I stopped to say hello to Lin too, were we too focused on what we were doing?
Thanks for sharing all your crafty goodies and your tag looks as though it is coming along nicely.
Happy belated WOYWW and thanks for stopping by my space.
hugs {brenda} xox

Hi Helen. Thanks for your lovely comment. That tag on your desk looks superb - isn't it funny the way we are our own worst critics?! Loved the photos of Ally Pally on your previous post too. Brought back wonderful memories from last March. Hugs, Buttons x
