My CV in progress (thanks to my lovely friend Gabrielle for helping with it and making some invaluable suggestions) and some tips I got from the local paper's job pages above CVs - and the freebie stamp from the new Craft Stamper which just arrived in the post!
So head over to Julia's for some proper interesting desks and who knows, maybe next week the back wages will have been paid and I'll be a bit happier.. hope YOU have a good week and I'll try to visit you soon.

I'm not sure what a CV is, but that's a very nice freebie stamp. I like the heart tag, too. What can I say? I snooped!
hope your week turns into a more successful one and you get paid! take crae trace x #61
Sounds like you are making the right moves to improve your situation, I wish you well in oyur job search. I agree with the stamp comment. I only bought the magazine for the first time when I saw the beautiful butterfly stamp but haven't bothered since. BJ#63
wow - you're up and posting early - although I guess its scheduled! Sorry to read about work issues Helen, I didn't realise... Hope you find success soon...
would be interested to read the article from the paper - is there a link to an on-line version at all?
Hugs to you... go ink up that stamp to cheer yourself up.

Argh. No wonder you haven't been in a creative mood. The CV becomes a bit all consuming doesn't it, and the need to be drawing one up is another all consumer too..what a worry. I sincerely hope that at the very least wages are being sorted..I think if wages can't be paid, the company surely has to declare itself insolvent and let the government step in and pay redundancies..which in my experience they did pretty efficiently and quickly. Or are they stringing you along and relying on your goodwill and 'current climate' fears to see em through a cash crisis? I can't say anything nice about them, can you tell!
By the way, we've had to change the venue for Oct 13th...the nearest rail station is now PEWSEY...but Andover is still not a problem...the difference at the London end is probably much more complicated!
Oh my, I just read Julias comment, what an awful situation you have with your job. I really hope you manage to get another job soon. Good luck with your CV writing. Thats's a very pretty stamp.
Keep smiling and have a better week.

Hi Helen - sorry to hear you are job hunting. CVs take a while I know but it is worth it if you end up with a good one. Fingers crossed for you that you will have better news soon. Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 22
Aw Helen am so sorry to read this, I do hope it all gets sorted for you.
Good luck with the dreaded CV writing and fingers crossed you get everything due you very soon xx
Oh Helen, you have always been such a conscientious worker, I am so sorry you are looking for another job. Hope your cv is coming together nicely, any quick scans of it I am only too happy to offer. Such a worry too, some people like them clipped and short, others like them lengthy but you never know who wants what.
No wonder Mr Mojo is absenting himself at the moment - you have had one thing after another this past couple of years or so. Hope things improve for you.
Will be thinking of you and putting you in my prayers.
Hugs, Neet xx 84
Aw shucks! You mentioned me! Bless you though you know I'd rather have not helped 'cos it meant things were ok... much love as always xxx
Good luck with the cv and job hunting, hope you get sorted quickly.
Love the background colours to your blog by the way.

Hi Helen, I too, am sorry to hear of your work problems - Mel (Yorkshire Fox) has a great one liner on her blog today that I think might apply to your circumstances - its worth a look. All the very best with your job search. Big crafty hugs, Anne x #47
I know how you feel.
Kind of stuck here, too! :)
Hope your work situation improves.
That is never easy!

Oh Helen, what a dilemma it must all be. Stay positive as sometimes things work out for the better. Take up Neet's offer if you need any help as she was a head of careers so knows the lot! Love your tag.
good luck Jo x
Ee hun that's not so good but I'm sure Gabrielle's help was invaluable, I can imagine so anyway! Hope it all goes well for you and will be keeping my fingers crossed. Take care Zo xx 98
If you are sending out a CV that probably means you are looking for work, sorry to hear about that but don't worry I am sure you will find something suitable - stay positive!
Lots of hugs,
Cardarian
...Hi Helen thanks for stopping by, I've been out of the loop a wee while but I do hope all is ok with you, the CV's tell a story and your bit about work, I hope the quote helps in some way :) my Daughter & SIL had the house of their dreams slip away as the owners decided to stay on the day of exchange but they went ahead with their sale, but its worked out ok and they are with me for a while, so the quote was very apt for me...keep smiling...Mel :)
Hope you get your work stuff sorted satisfactorily, and then that it gives you space and time to play at your desk again instead of dealing with CVs. Happy WOYWW to you in any case!

Sometimes, when circumstances force your hand (like redundancy has for us a couple of time) it can be a positive experience in that it forces you to travel down a road you might not have done..and enjoy it more. I'm really not being rose-tinted-specs here, it might just be the best thing to move on. Good Luck.
Julia mentioned Pewsey station for coming to the crop, but BEDWYN is 5 minutes away from my village where the venue now is. We could pick you up from there if it helps. You would have to leave from Paddington though, not sure if that makes a difference to you?
Hugs, LLJ #81 xx
I like the heart tag peeking out. The freebie stamp is cute too - maybe some valentine cards are in your future?
Thanks for visiting me already. Work has taken the front seat today and I'm not happy about it!
Happy WOYWW
