What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday 61

So here we are in August.  And it's Wednesday again, time to gather over at lovely Julia's to snoop round the desks (or floors or washing machines as it takes your fancy) of the world to see who's been doing what. Before I start, I just want to say thanks for all of your comments last week - I had a record number of people dropping by, and I appreciate each one of your comments. Thank you!

I have filled the cake stand from Minxy with all kinds of painty goodies - glossy accents on the top, Claudine's paints in the middle and viva decor paints, Tim's distress crackle paints and embossing powders at the bottom.  Looks good, doesn't it - thanks again Minxy!

When I was taking the paints and powders out of the box they'd been in, (next to my craft sheet/workspace on the floor) I found another pot of Matte Medium - so I had one all along!!! Doh. Still, I am sure it keeps...

Looks like I need to dust off the meltpot though! You can see I haven't used it in a while. Oops!
The glass of dirty water just in front is my brush cleaning/scrub it mat damper!),strictly not for drinking from!

I got another set of Timmy stamps since we last met (so much for not shopping! -- but they'd been on order a while, so they weren't really "new" shopping, and that's my excuse!)  I did show them the other day, but in case you weren't around, here they are again - Brolly Man. (don't think that's the proper name!) Love him!!

Still on my craft mat is my Tag Tuesday tag (see yesterday's post for details)

Well, that's it for me this week, short (ish) and sweet - now I'm off to see what you've all been up to. Have a great day.

Darn, I knew you'd find a use for that basket. And yeah, it looks fab filled with all those colourful mediums. And it helped you find something - serendipity! Minxy has done a new room reveal for her WOYWW (spit spit) and really, she has hundreds of these baskets. Jealous I am!! Love the new stamps -isn't brolly man actually CHaplain? I dunno.

I saw that brolly man on some random American blog I stumbled across, I hadn't realised it was Mr Tim of Holtz.. I'm sorry I'm gonna be the one to say it - I'd quite like that stand full of cakes personally! Maybe a combination of the two? I also really need to know do you genuinely work on the floor or do u sit on the floor n work on your lap?!

Cardarian said...

I soooo want one of those cake stands but where to put it?? No room! Your new Timmy stamps are nice - I bet they will be useful!

Don't make it look too yummy or Minxy will be wanting it back, he, he. Fab space - love it - and I have the statutory dirty water, too - along with a bottle of clean water for refilling but I always forget it's there - duh! My bathroom is downstairs so it's a trek to change it. Lovely to see more of your stash. My meltpot is in much the same state... sigh.
