This week's Sunday Stamper theme is "flowers" so I thought I'd go back to grungepaper!!
It's been a while since I made some grungepaper roses and I had to check the tutorials!!
I used as a base, the CD I'd started to alter on Friday - this was already gesso'd, inked (wild honey) and then I used the crafters workshop flower template although you can't make that out now! I stamped the Paperartsy single flower again (see Friday's tag) and then out came the grunge!!
I made two grunge roses with Wendy's roses - the two smaller sizes - and one using Tim's tattered floral die (I only had two die cut, but still had the "space" from which one was cut, so used that to trace on another piece of grunge, to make the 3rd leaf. That worked OK!
The two Wendy roses I inked and stamped with Wendy backgrounds, and added distress stickles the tattered one I left plain ink, but sprayed with some reinker/pearl mix. Then I cut out some rose petals and the yummy already patterned flower from Be Inspired - Make Art - I think this is one of my FAVE Wendy stamps (though I have a few..) I had some trouble sticking the roses to the CD base, and things keep popping off or lifting up!!
Used a philosophy tag in the centre and some distress stickles on the leaves. It's still drying in the photos....
I couldn't get any decent close-ups, sorry.

Three of the little suckers! well done! This looks gorgeous BTW, especially love the tattered floral one. You are certainly getting a lot of use out of the CW template!

Absolutely gorgeous! Love your roses! x
Can I just say what a relief to find someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more popular because you definitely have the gift.
