Tag Tuesday - not on paper

This week's Tag Tuesday challenge from Kard Krazy, is to make a tag  - open theme - as long as the tag isn't on paper. There have already been some very clever entries.

Easy you might think.... hmmm.
I found a Maya Road chipboard tag in my stash. I painted it with gesso and then applied adriondack dye ink in denim.

I layered up some images - a die cut flower (tattered florals) cut on a copy of a piece of old newspaper and a metal flower (same die) mounted on sticky back canvas and decorated with a TSS wheel. I used up a few scraps of Lost and Found paper from a previous challenge and some tissue tape.  The "collage" stamp is by Paperartsy and stamped on a journalling ticket. Finally I added some fibres.

Very nice Helen, chip board is such a cool element. I have also used laminate samples from places like Home Depot and Lowes. Then I went to work for a cabinet co. that built laminate cabinets, now I have chains of them. Great part....they already hace the hole in them LOL

Hi Helen,
What a beautiful tag--I love it! And I agree with you...doing a tag without paper is easier said than done! Your results are exquisite--it is a fabulous tag!

Hi Helen,

Thanks for all the fab comments recently especially on the chicks post, they're so cuuuuute aren't they!
Love making collage pieces like this, they're very relaxing to do aren't they. You've put a great combination together here.

Lovely! I like this definition, too - there are always so many leftovers that I'm sure will one day be used for something :)

LOvely tag! I like that you used old newspaper - I work in a library and we are always throwing things out but I never think of taking it home and making a card! I hope I will meet you at Ally Pally!
Hugs,
Cardarian
