Sunday Stampers - Whiskey in the Jar

Well, not whiskey, maybe! Ever since I got this bottle stamp from Wendy V, I have wanted to do this!!  It took until I got a pack of the Hallowe'en in Wonderland paper from Graphic 45. I don't have any Alice stamps so this is the next best option.
Hels' theme for this week's Sunday Stampers challenge is bottles/jars/booze.

I used a mixture of forest green, crushed olive and wild honey DI's on the tag, cut an Alice image from the Graphic 45 pad and made the bottle - I stamped it twice, once on acetate again, and once on grungepaper.

I coloured the grungepaper with blue DI (can't remember which one now!) and added a layer of rock candy distress paint.  When that had crackled I stuck the acetate bottle on top with glossy accents and made a label with a tiny tag I bought from a stationer's shop.

Added a few bits of new tissue tape from my purchases (scroll down for everything I bought) today at Stevenage and stamped 'wish' 3 times on a scrap before inking it and fixing it to the tag.

A bit of a rushed job tonight, as I know I will be busy doing other challenges tomorrow and I don't want to get behind with my homework!!!

Love this piece Hels, very creative using the bottle and drink me along with Alice. Aren't these papers yummy. Like the look of all your stash too, nice stamps from PaperArtsy. Love your piece of art you made on your return too. I need some corrugated card but not been able to get hold of any yet. Have a good evening. Tracy Evans x

I'm not interested in singles holidays....been in a hotel once where a bunch arrived and it was obscene the way some of the men were drooling over two women at the bar.....no not for me!!! LOL
