Simon Says Stamp and Show - week 1 - Wings

It's here  - Simon Says Stamp and Show - how exciting is this new blog?! The first challenge - and you've probably seen the amazing prize on offer! - is Things with Wings.  I decided to go for something completely different this time (to quote Monty Python ).

Although having said that I've used a tag as the base, coloured chipped sapphire.  I had a small wooden arch which I painted white and then inked with tumbled glass and crushed olive before stamping the toadstools (I think they're from Personal Impressions only there's no name on it) and coloured them with watercolour pencils.  I stamped the fairy (no idea, again no maker or code) in black archival on a piece of scrap and clear embossed it.   Cut her out, stuck her to the toadstool.

Stamped the Wendy text on a scrap of paper and inked a maya road oval frame (I used walnut stain ink then added inka gold, gold paint with a wet finger)  Stuck it all to the tag with matte medium.
