WOYWW 734

Welcome deskers, it's Wednesday again, time for another WOYWW show and tell...

I have nothing much to either tell or show...having had a week off work, plus this Monday for my birthday there hasn't been a lot going on... except with my camera, I was out on the Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday.... I should have turned the pedometer app on my phone on. I wonder how far I walked!  I did take 1659 photos (and that's not counting on the phone)

I won't add links for each day's separate  blogs on "photosbyh" but if you want to take a look, you are most welcome to have a wander..

I did start to embellish a journal page on Sunday but it didn't get finished ...

you saw the page when it was just the bright stencilled layer a couple of weeks ago.

I added some more stencilling - in white, believe it or not but it looks yellow; and then some torn pieces of collage tissue.

and there it stopped!

I will just add one photo from my days out...
Kew, of course, on Monday for my birthday (well where else to go but my happy place?!)  and of course, birthday cake...
there is almost enough to share with you all....

thanks for your birthday wishes and I'll see you soon to catch up with your desks.

Goodness Helen. I can't believe I missed your birthday at Kew, although I did wish you a happy birthday on Monday from London. Nice you had cake at Kew for your birthday. It looks delicious. You did some pretty incredible stenciling and collaging, too. Happy WOYWW. No number yet of course.

Pleased you had a nice birthday and your week off too. I am loving the colours in the new journal page. You need to give me a kick because I've just realised that after the good start I didn't finish June's journal page, got distracted again. Have a lovely woyww, hopefully a bit cooler. Kew and cake, not a bad way to spend your birthday!! Glad you had fun, that was a lot of pics, but it’s easy to do with digital cameras, we’d have been rationing the old Kodak slide film eh?!

Hi Helen, glad you enjoyed your birthday week - that's a lot of photos! Thanks for sending me your addy - I saw it for 5 secs as an alert on my phone then I don't know where it went! So I still didn't send your card. As you may have guessed technology isn't my forte, beginning to wonder what is. I have it all back now though so you may get something in the post ... no promises mind! Have a good week, love n hugs Cindyxx #12

Happy WOYWW and Happy Belated Birthday. That cake looks very tasty. Would have been wonderful to have been there with you and had a slice too. I got a new phone this week (just the latest and bigger version of my old Google phone). I loved my old phone camera, and this is promised to take even better photos and videos. Not tested it properly yet. Ali x #16

Happy Belated B-day! My goodness you did take a LOT of photos. I'll make sure to hop over there to see after I get thru my late WOYWW visits. Weds. have turned into a real problem for me and I am not officially FED UP!Cool page beginnings too. I never seem to do pages in stages. I race to the end and then think WHY did I do THAT? LOL!
Happy cool and breezy belated WOYWW!

Good grief that's a lot of photos! I shall really enjoy browsing through them. Many happy returns, am sorry to have been inactive enough to send wishes on the day, I was doing the sad Heathrow run and am still recovering from having Sissy with me and now the house is quiet and somewhat neglected!! Looks as though you've had a fab week off, hope you're energised and rested all at once..I don't blame you for not doing much 'at the desk'. The paint doesn't look yellow from here...and how do you know where to stick the bits of tissue? OMG I'm so incapable of random unplanned stuff like that!

Oh my goodness, how many photos? It's amazing how snap happy we can get with digital at out fingertips these days. I really hope I wished you happy birthday on facebook but to be quite honest I wasn't really functioning well in the heat last week. Can't believe how much it affects me and now looking into air-con for my room, typical it has got a bit chilly now LOL. Had a quick look at your photos, the bottle brush is what caught my eye in a front garden near me - it happens to belong to a dancing acquaintance. He lost his wife last October, I heard through dancing and went to the funeral and he actually turned up this week to dancing for the first time since. The bicycle wheels remind me of another sad loss as my son's friend died a couple of years ago and as an avid cyclist his sister had a flower arrangement done on a wheel at his funeral, it is now the main feature in his memorial garden bed at church where we play/played badminton, I see it every week! Oh gosh I am wittling on.... photos are fantastic. Hugs BJ#13
