WOYWW 647 - it all came at once

Hello fellow deskers - another Wednesday already..  The day of the week we gather at Julia's Stamping-Ground for WOYWW  desk sharing day.

I've had a splurge on buying new goodies lately, and have had 3 deliveries since we last met!

first up were the Dina stencils, collage tissue pack and chipboard shapes that just missed it for last week

then the new ink pad and distress sprays in the new colour - Villainous Potion  - such a gorgeous deep purple.  can't wait to try this out!  (I held out for a day before ordering them!)
and finally some new Paperartsy goodies - the Lynne Perrella and Seth Apter stamps were launched last week and the stencil by Tracy Scott was from the previous launch that I resisted (at the time!)

writing this Tuesday evening,  an email alert has just flashed up on the screen to tell me my parcel will be delivered today.... yes, about 10 hours ago!!  They normally arrive before the post!

so, lots of goodies to play with.
At the weekend I had a bit of a play with one of the Dina stencils - the circle mosaic which is just gorgeous.   In honour of the new distress inks on the way (at the time) I used distress inks in my journal - on one of the cotton rag pages in the Dina journal
I used some of my favourite, slightly muted colours - I can't remember all the colours now -  and then stencilled one of the flowers across the spread.
Added a collage tissue face - intend to doodle on this to enhance it a bit -  added some splatters and some cut up collage tissue phrase which I then muted with gesso.

Saturday's trip to Kew was fabulous - I spent half an hour in the Zadok Ben-David exhibition taking close ups - lots of pics on the blog and ages outside enjoying the rich autumn colours - my favourite time of year I think
this is one of my favourite autumn sights!

the detail is just exquisite

Sadly the forecast for this coming weekend is wet, so I think I'll maybe not spend so long outside!

That's it from me -  not planning on new goodies next week, maybe I'll have used some of this week's!  Happy WOYWW  and I'll see you soon.

H, my lovely, you are soon going to run out of space! Three deliveries! Lucky lucky you. I always enjoy your Kew pictures, it feels like visiting even when I can’t. Kew was actually our first even touristy thing on my first ever visit to the UK. I loved it, even it it was pouring down with rain! The page is lovely, and yes, great stencil!
Happy Woyww!

Must visit your Kew photos another time as I am off out early this morning.
Loving all the new goodies and yesm, that stencil is gorgeous - do you have an idea in mind for some goodies before you buy or do you buy because you like? I think I do the latter but then it is the demos I see of the stuff that makes me buy so not sure really.
Hugs, Neet 7 xx

Fab new goodies Helen - my Villainous Poison goodies arrived on Monday but I haven't played with them yet. I ordered as usual before the colour was announced but I haven't been disappointed yet. I have ordered some Dina collage paper too - thought I'd check out what all the fuss is about lol. Hope the rain holds off for you on Saturday. Stay safe and Happy WOWYW. Sarah #5

Somebody is going to be busy with parcels arriving. Our postman jokes with my hubby that I’ve been spending the pension again.
Enjoy your goodies.
Autumn must be a wonderful time to see Kew, I know looking out of our windows at the tops of the trees below in the nature reserve is awesome

I don't blame you for ordering some more goodies there's nothing more pleasurable at the moment than hearing the postman leaving something nice so I've done it myself Lol! Have a great woyww, hugs Angela x15x

Lovely Autumnal photos Helen, it's rather late arriving here in the Fens, so much rain means lots of green still about but I did see a stunning Acacia tree yesterday moving to red and golden tones, it looks totally magical in the sun (yep we saw that yesterday).

I adore the sound of villainous poison as a name for a purple ink!
Beautiful autumn close ups at Kew, Helen, and I adore the sight of you and your friend rolling round the exhibits for low level shots.

I had a bundle of parcels in the post today too, Helen - new DIs, shimmer pens, grey cardstock... So glad you've got the new purple too, and we are both looking forward to a chance to play with this! Have you seen TH's video about the launch? It's totally awesome. I love your latest page - the circular mosaic design reminds me of cobbled streets - such a pretty design.

Thank you for your visit and your good wishes for our health. I'm glad you like my patchwork cards - I've got plenty of ideas for developing this further, especially with my new products. I'm very surprised you managed to blunt a distressing tool lol! I suppose you turned it from a "distressing" to a "distressed" tool haha!

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Helen, sorry to be do late. Villainous Poison - what a name for that shade of purple! How did you manage to wait a day before succumbing ... it's so your thing :) I've had a bit of a spree this week too but then I've been very good for months now so I'm not feeling too guilty. Hope to pop over to look at your Kew photos later - I always enjoy them. Hope today is not as wet as anticipated. Hugs, Elizabeth x #23
