WOYWW 645

Morning bakers  deskers... (you can tell I write this during Great British Bake Off)  It is time again for WOYWW  where we share our crafty workspaces... I have little to show this week (ordered some stencils on Sunday which I had hoped would arrive in time but the post let me down)

I had a bit of a dodgy go at Dina's latest supporter video from last week - drawing and painting over a stamped image on tissue embedded in a journal page  using paint instead of glue.

It's amazing how when you're adding to an image that is already there, you can make it look awful (although it's slightly better in the picture than the flesh!! )  However I shall practice.

so I'll leave you with Kew instead - at least I can't mess that up - last week was foggy to start with and then gloriously sunny -

here's a couple of pics to tempt you!

I am sure you've all been much more productive than I have and I'll be round to visit soon.

Happy WOYWW

The image looks good to me Helen - sometimes we are our own worst critics. Looks like Kew was amazing on Saturday. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

I don’t think it’s all that bad! You are too hard on yourself. Lovely Kew photos, as ever.
Happy Woyww!

Definitely autumnal tones on display at Kew, Helen, very beautiful too, I quite like your attempt on Dinas image but think we judge ourselves more harshly than others do.Thanks for Sharing, God bless and keep you safe, and all those you love, prayer hugs Shaz in Oz.x

Morning Helen, I think your image is looking good - we are often harder on ourselves and see 'faults' that no one else picks up on, but I'm sure you'll have lots of fun practicing!
Have a great week,

Happy WOYWW. I desperately want to find some time to sit and do some online tutorials I signed up for ages ago. I am thinking of reserving Sundays for that purpose. Beautiful autumnal images from Kew. Ali x #14

There's nothing "awful" about your page Helen, in fact, I love it with its muted/hazy colours. And the fog shot is so atmospheric! I love this time of year - not too hot, not too cold - I wish it was like this all the time. Happy WOYWW! xx zsuzsa #17

May I humbly suggest - stop criticising and enjoy. I think it looks good but I know that you just want to add paint . . . any excuse!!!
Bet Kew was a beautiful experience with the mist and all, your photos are wonderful

I don't think it's awful at all, Helen! It looks great to me. As always, lovely colours too. Gorgeous Kew colours.

Thank you for your visit. I'm happier now my card production has speeded up a bit but there will still be occasions when I spend a week on a special card.

Happy belated WOYWW,

Lovely fall photos! I think I have those Dina Wakely stamps, or at least something similar! Looking forward to catching up On the GBBS because hubby was away over the weekend - we watch together. Sorry I'm so late this week, Lindart #25
