WOYWW 591

Back to enabling for this week's WOYWW  desk fest... the link can be found here

I have been keeping my eye on the new Dina Wakley products hitting the stores and found a few so...

a couple of new stencils (one is a {Prima one)  and some of the new scripty collage tissue..  and some more of her paints..

I'd have got some of the new stamps but only saw them at Art From the Heart and they were having a few days off so I wasn't willing to wait, lol!

I also did some stamping over some leftover paint on a journal page..

scripty circles by France Papillon for Paperartsy.

3 different sizes...

just needs a focal point so a WIP for now!

Can anyone believe it is the end of September already?
the year is 3/4 over for goodness sake!!

I will leave you with the link to last weekend's  - very cold  - trip to Kew - cold but beautiful (am hoping that this week coming won't be as wet as it might appear to be from the forecast..)
at least I won't have to get up at 5.30 this week as it's back to winter opening hours

Yay! Did you change your blog? I was sure I couldn’t comment last week but now I can! Woo boo. I love that feather plume stencil. I’m sure I have a quilting one that’s similar. Such a pretty element. And your blue circles are lovely too. Oh you have always been a shopping trigger for me and I can see nothing has changed. Might as well just give in....

Happy Woyww

Those paints are a grand purchase Helen, I use them all the time now as I find they last a lot longer than pots, bottles are win win for me. That circle script stamp looks fantastic. Hope you get dryer weather for the weekend up there, i'm hoping for wet wet wet my end. Take care & Happy WoywW Tracey #7 xx

Hi Helen. Oooo - I like that stencil - gorgeous. And I do like that blue page! Yes, 3/4 of the year gone already. You aren't the only one who can't quite believe it, I'm sure. It almost feels like we have been cheated out of a year of our life... but there again... it has been an opportunity to do and think differently, so maybe not a waste and a cheat...?!
Thanks - I had a fabulous, fun, crazy day with the family! Just what I had hoped for.
Take care. God bless.

Love the script tissue - sounds like it could be useful. Do you really get up at 5.30 in the summer to get to Kew's? You must be mad - or just very dedicated! I need my sleep-ins at the weekend! Happy #501! zsuzsa #21

I seem to have stencil envy (grin)! And I love those circles you stamped. I love the color you chose, too. Sorry I missed Kew. I'll check it out when I have a bit of time. I'm SO far behind. It's been 10 days since I was online and catching up is nearly impossible. Not playing, just visiting.

Love the look of that scripty tissue paper! I bought gnome stamps this week, so not quite as arty. Lovely colour for that circley page. Stay well, stay safe, Cindy #22

Happy WOYWW and thank you for your earlier visit. I love those new paint colours and the scripty circle stamps (the sort of thing I like to scribble onto journal pages). Wonderful photos from Kew. Yes, it looks like the end of the week will be stormy weather. No more cycling outside for me for a while! Ali x #8

It's strange but I actually feel that this has been a rather long year but we have had a lot on with my parents and other than that we've not been anywhere so I guess it's probably that. Loving your journal pages. I ordered something from Art from The Heart before I realised they were having a week off and will just have to wait till they return. Wishing you a happy week and a very creative woyww, Angela x12x

Lovely new things to play with, Helen, and the scripty circles are gorgeous! Lovely colours you've chosen, too. Glorious colours at Kew as well! Thank you for your visit, and lol you are right - my threads are hardly what you'd call organised hahaha!!! I find that I have to be organised in my life or I'd never get anything done!

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Helen - I thought there was only one 5.30 in a day ... didn't realise there was a 5.30am lol. The only time I would ever consider getting up that early would be to go on holiday! The circle stamp is my kinda stamp. I had promised myself no more stamps but I could be tempted with that one! Have a lovely week, Heather xx #17

Sorry I'm so late with my visits this week. I went with my hubby yesterday doing deliveries for our daughter and her hubby's printing business to London....a long day but always lovely to spend the time together.
I really love the blue page with the circles on.

HI Helen! You are an enabler, you! I love that stencil! The France Papillion stamps are pretty cool too. A nice solid stamp (of which I have too few) would do great on that background! Lovely pics from Kew, when we went on our road trip yesterday we saw some incredible colours too, bright oranges and reds! Thanks for your lovely visit to mine, Lindart #28

I love those scribbly FP circles - they look so pretty in aqua. No, I'm in denial about it being October... especially since I'm supposed to be moving in a month's time (though it may be a few weeks extra now, sigh). Enjoy your lie-in tomorrow.
