So, for the first time in ages, for my WOYWW desk share, there is actual proper crafting!!
It is still only a WIP... needs lots doing to it but I'll share a couple of the in progress pics - that amazingly, I remembered to take as I went along...
then added glass bead gel and some art stones
added some more sprays - Lindy's this time... in the gorgeous colour that is Tibetan Poppy Teal and Bells of Ireland Green (way too much)
and thought oh s&*t I've ruined it... but they dried lighter and some dry brushing with white acrylic paint helped
and there it sits... waiting the next layers..
needs more metal.. and some more stamping and text of some kind... but that is for another day and I have kept you far too long, Julia will be putting me on the naughty step!

sadly after a fabulous few days we are forecast rain on Saturday so the droplets may be rain rather than from a watering system!

The canvas is so very interesting, love texture and that cheesecloth blew me away at the beginning. Gorgeous colours but then who could not like those two main colours.

I love this sort of play Helen the problem for me is once I start I can't stop haa haa!! Those greens are definitely an ode to Kew and all their splendid greenery.

My word gal, that canvas morphed and changed! You didn’t ruin it at all, and I love the stamping at the edges. Now the weather’s on the turn again, you’ll probably have more time to play at the weekend...talk about all change! Your Kew pics are amazing.....have you approached anyone at Kew and asked if they’d like to buy some for postcards or something?
HI Helen, OOoh cool. I have to remember that ( I love the texture the cheesecloth adds) I tend to just dye it and drape it but, the welding it on with the gesso is very cool :) ~Stacy #24

Wow - amazing work on the mixed media board - I love all those swirls of cheesecloth and then the vivid colours with the leaf and flower shapes - it's like a gorgeous garden already. Looking forward to seeing where it goes next! I will definitely try and come back for a Kew visit - my apologies for being so behind with everything. What little time I have to spare, I try to spend on actual crafting, which means the blogging end goes out of the window!
