WOYWW(or T) 495

So lovely Julia is away with Jan and scheduled... early!  It really threw me this morning when the blog came up in my reader list ...  however, I am now writing at my usual time and will join the early gang, a live non scheduled post! Hop on over to the Stamping-Ground to find out all about it..

so this was my "desk" in action on Sunday morning...  Christmas card production line going...

and this was me in action squashed up against the sofa on the floor in my normal crafting position!    Self timer on the phone is a great invention!
this was my "desk" this morning, aerial shot... the yellow cards were some extra makes from later on at the weekend, a JoFY stamp for Paperartsy, and some yellow spray - an A4 sized sheet of ordinary copy paper (which held up very well to the spray and water) to make some more cards...got 4 and some strips left out of that

the pile on the right are the "done" ones - ready to write - 41 of them...   I have some "special" ones left to make for my favourite blog buddies and my brother, and then I think I'm nearly done!
and this is as it looks tonight as I write..

the goodies are a Paperartsy blog prize (long story, won it months ago but they had some production issues with the aprons that were meant to be the prize, so they've reverted to a voucher to buy what you like from their website)

I ordered them on Sunday and they were here waiting for me when I got home from work.  The big (JoFY) Christmas words I'll use for the front of the 4 yellow cards... perfect!

So, an early What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday (Tuesday)  this week- will give me a head start in the morning and I'll find you at your desks very soon!

It seems many are now in the Christmas card making mode! I could never sit like you, my body is too old. But I remember those days. That's a nice pile of completed cards! And great looks stamps! Have a great week!

You have well beaten me in the Christmas card stakes Helen! I totally agree about copy paper mop up sheets being great backgrounds for cards. Glad your stamps arrived in good time to finish them off. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #10

Well done on the win, hope the missing apron was not a big disappointment and the prize was not a 'second best'. You have certainly done a big spurt with the "C" cards and now are well ahead of the game - me I am still being a tortoise.

Lovely to see you in action today but I have to say my joints creaked just looking at the position you craft in....I'd never get up again.

It always beats me how you can work comfortably on the floor, Helen, but that picture shows that you must have extremely supple knee and hip joints. You really are in full swing with your Christmas card production! Thanks for your visit - so glad you like my flowers. I was highly amused that for the first time in my life, I managed to knock you off your jealously guarded #1 perch!!! It happened entirely by accident because I was just going on Julia’s blog to check the WOYWW number - I always start my post in advance - only to find she’d already posted! I thought if I got my skates straight on, I could join the fun a day early, too! I’m sure it won’t ever happen again!

Happy WOYWW,
Shoshi #1 (can’t get used to typing that...)

Hi Helen, yes it threw me too. I was writing my post last night, as Doug was on lates, and popped over to get the blog addy to link in my post. First thing I thought was I'd got this weeks number wrong when I saw the post headline! Cards are looking good, and the JoFY words are fab. These days if I sat on the floor I'd need help to get up again, lol. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 X

Wow, you're well on your way making cards.. nearly finished already! I love that shot of you on the ground, I might consider sit on the ground too as my desk chair is antique and gives me butt-leg-problems lately... Happy woyww and a big hug from Holland. Marit #17

Nice choice of new stamps! Congrats! You certainly have been nice and busy - I'm glad I don't have to make 41 cards! Have a great week, Lindart #22

Hi Helen, I'm with some of the others- I'd struggle to get up again if I worked on the floor! It's bad enough when one of my grandchildren pats the floor to sit and play trains with them! I like the Christmas greeting on the green card, the font is lovely. Congrats on the prize, fast delivery, which is great. Thanks for stopping by earlier and have a lovely week Heather x #8

Would that things arrived so quickly downunder Helen. I won a blog prize.. also a voucher bought two weeks ago as wanted the Christmas things ASAP. I suspect they'll be late.
Love your production line.
Think I need to get inspired!! Now or never.

Love the View from the Floor shot!! Well done for nearly getting there with your cards, Julia and I made a few yesterday as the weather was vile....well, she made toppers and I stuck them into glittery card stock, that's technical enough for me, lol!

HI Helen, I am totally impressed with how many Christmas Cards you have gotten done in what seems like not such a long space of time. ( it takes me all year to do that many it feels like haha)
Love the timer shot esp. :) ~Stacy #25

Excellent work on the Christmas cards - still the writing to do of course! - but they're looking great. And congrats on your PaperArtsy prize - great choices.
