Another week of no crafting... but lots of happy mail!
First let me introduce you, should you need it, to the link for WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday)
the first lot of happy mail came last Wednesday, of course, couldn't have arrived in time for last week's desk share!
some stencils.... cos a girl can never have too many stencils. (France Papillon designs)
the next happy mail came on Thursday, I think it was, the Paperartsy stamps.. prettily wrapped in an old sewing pattern and tied with ribbon
(edit - I got the stamps from The Artistic Stamper. not direct from Paperartsy)
oh look I took a pic before I unwrapped!
but the best was yet to come.... yes, finally!!
Introducing....
the third and fourth sets of Distress Oxides..
just yesterday (at time of writing) - Monday - to work so no messing about collecting from the sorting office -
somewhat carelessly slung in a large jiffy bag, but luckily they come individually sealed!
Looking forward to getting them unwrapped and played with.. watch this space!
Hopefully with this coming weekend being a Bank Holiday, playtime will be found.
Last weekend's Kew trip as ever is here
final photo - tonight's sunset (we've been blessed with some beauties this summer, even if I don't get to sit on a beach under a parasol to watch it)
Looking forward to visiting your desks soon.

Love the way those PaperArtsy stamp sets have been wrapped, so unique. I'm trying to look at the sewing pattern & not the stamps as I will be tempted and i'm really trying NOT to buy any at the moment but it's so hard not too...
You will have lots of Bank Holiday fun with all those Oxides Helen.
That sunset is stunning.
Happy WOYWW wishing you a fabulous creative week Tracey xx
Just stopped by to see what was new, dear. LOVE the sunset shot, but all that happy mail is over the top. I am in love with your stencils and it looks like PaperArtsy is thoughtful in their packaging. I look forward to seeing what you do with the oxides and what makes them so special. Hope you have a GREAT Wednesday.
Oooh, crafty goodies! But I admit my eyes were drawn to the sunset pic - stunning!
Happy WOYWW :)

Oh such fun mail. Have fun using it all. Loving the sunset photo. Our sun set is been gorgeous for weeks. True red..daytime hazy with all the fires around.
Enjoy a happy WOYWW
I think it’s great when people take the trouble to pack things up nicely, so that it’s fun opening the parcel, and then ending up with extra stuff to make lovely art with! What fun you will have with all your new purchases. Thank you for your visit and I’m glad you’re enjoying my continuing adventures in sourdough. It is a huge bore about my possible (I think “most likely” actually) hernia - I don’t think I can face yet more surgery and just hope with the right support I’ll be able to continue as I am but I do worry about obstructions and how they deal with them - it’s far from pleasant.
Happy WOYWW,

Doesn't it brighten your day when you get something new through the post - but what a wonderful feeling when you open the pack and find something so beautifully wrapped. I love it when someone does that. Gorgeous gift wrap.
Do you have all the Distress Oxides now? What a wonderful array you are showing. Great sunset.
Hugs, Neet xx

Hi Helen good to see all your goodies finally arrived. Love the Oxides, but I've not been getting every one this time round. Been loving your sunset pictures. Last night looking out of my craft room window, the sun was going down behind some trees, and as they were moving in the breeze, just looked like the sky was in flames. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 X
What a lovely way to package the stamps Helen, and something useful for collaging too. Have fun with the Oxides, I can't get enough of the Old Paper, Tea Dye, Ground Espresso combination. Happy WOYWW Sarah #?

Hi there and thanks for popping by. I really love how the goodies were wrapped in the sewing pattern paper. I still have not tried the distress oxides, maybe one day. Have fun. Anne x #7
Oh what could be better than stencils, stamps and oxides - enjoy! Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a good week. Hazel, WOYWW #20 x
Getting packages is so much fun! Woo hoo. I think I’m obsessed with stencils too. Dorlene #30
Hi Helen, OOOh fun ( I have bought about half of those new colors so far and have been debating about how much I really need all the colors ( seeing as I have all the colors in distress now) but, the truth is, anything I have an oxide color for, I reach for those first so, I am fairly sure its just a matter of time before I cave lol. Love how that package was wrapped too :) ~Stacy #33
Hi Helen,
What a lovely lot of new stash. That should keep you out of mischief for a while:) LOL
Lovely photo of the sunset.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

No beaches needed for sunsets of the variety we’ve had this summer. Am always impressed that you manage to be ready for it, Ithink about it and then, it happens before I’ve even got a camera ready!! Love the Distress Oxide collection, makes the ONE I treated myself to look very paltry!!
Love all your new toys! But I think you will need a few weeks to play with them all! I only have one set of oxides - they will be on my Christmas Wish list for sure! Thanks for your visit, and have a great week! Lindart #27
Late again - it's getting to be a habit! I do hope you make something lovely with all those Distress thingies - no idea how you will use them but know it will all look fab! xx Jo #16
Now that's what I call happy mail! Hope by now you have had fun playing with them! I really am trying to catch up today so will be taking a look back at Kew too! Hugs, Chrisx
Oooo new toys! Lucky you, Helen. Reminds me to take pics of what I have coming in this week - hopefully in time for Wednesday's desk share. Thanks for stopping by this week. Always happy to see you. Hugs & Creative Blessings! Kelly #31
Ooh - lovely stash updates - those new PA stamps are beyond fabulous, aren't they? My set 4 Oxides arrived just before I went away, but I've yet to crack open the seals even though I've been back two days now - too much going on still!
