WOYWW 480

Well that week went as fast as all the others... so it's time for WOYWW  again..
still haven't heard from Oyster Stamps about  my Oxides so they are still missing in action...
Couple of other orders are on the way... so also missing in action!

couple of first layers on some more spreads for the France Papillon ALAD/ASAW challenge..

this one is from about 4 weeks ago...

theme "self talk....  they way you talk to yourself"    bit deep for me so may just play on this one!
and this is from the next week.
theme " a bright idea"  should be a bit easier..

but right now,
not a clue where either of them are going

the trouble with August galloping away as it is, and with me prepping my post on a Tuesday evening, means that already the light is going earlier than I like, luckily I took these the other day when I was uploading them to the facebook group.
Hopefully (here we go again) next week I'll have some more crafting to share and new goodies too!
For now, I'll point you at Julia's for the link to the best blog hop there is.

Morning Helen, as soon as we hit mid August the light begins to fade so quickly doesn't it.
It's a struggle when some prompts appear to be a little deep, you should write, stamp or draw everything and then cover it up.. it will still be there but just hidden, you'd be surprised what's written under some of my pieces :))
Happy WOYWW have a super week & Thank you for the Anniversary wishes.

Not your usual prompts then! Best of luck with them, I am sure you will come up with something ... or it will emerge and suddenly ....wham! you'll be done.
have a fun filled week

A great start to your pages, but the prompts sound tricky! I hope you enjoy playing on your backgrounds - it will be interesting to see what you come up with and if they fit the prompts in any way. Hope your Oxides turn up, I've had four parcels go missing over the last couple of months, we have terrible problems with our post - sooooo frustrating!
Have a great week,

Like those black and white pages. Kind of unique. I agree these weeks just fly by here school starts next week and hardly seems a summer with all the weird weather we have had since April. #18 August half gone and have 1 calendar to turn over yet ! Enjoy a good week.

Hi Helen, hope all your goodies turn up soon. Nothing worse than waiting for stash. Like the layouts so far. I commented to Doug yesterday that it was dark at just after 9 o clock, definitely getting dark quicker now. Have a lovely week,Hugs, Shaz #3 XxX

Hi Helen, that's interesting as I am still waiting for my Oxides from Oyster stamps. I believe they should be here any time but no sign of them yet. Lets hope they're here soon. Look forward to seeing the finished pages. Big hugs for a great WOYWW, Angela x12x

Was gong to say I don't buy much online these days but have just had some Van Gogh tapes delivered - forgotten I ordered them. Now I wonder why?? I never use what I already have!
Not sure what you will do with those pages but knowing you it will turn out fine in the end.
have a good week
Hugs, Neet xx

I just mentioned to hubby Sunday evening that the light doesn't last as long.
Cool backgrounds! The Self Talk theme would be tough for me.
Have a great week!

If every artisan had a dollar for every time they hadn't a clue for a while as to where their work would be heading, we'd all be rich. ;)
Happy WOYWW !

Self talk? Hmm, that's a bit too navel gazing for me - anything that's a bit deep deons't happen in Jan World, I'm far too shallow for all that malarkey ;-). I like the pages you've done though and hope the lost order turns up soon.
Sorry I'm late replying, I was out all day on a WI Trip!

Looks like a good start to both pages! "self-talk" would be too deep for me too, which is why I generally stay away from journal prompts - they are mostly all too deep for me! Thanks for your visit, I should take your advice and post on Tuesday when I'm working on a Wednesday morning! Or at least get it all ready the night before and push the button on Wednesday! Have a great week! Lindart #24

I couldn’t work out why you stamped a picture of a factory repeatedly to show ‘bright side’ on a page. So then I enlarged it. Ohhhhhh I seeeee! That I get. The self talk thing is abit high brow for me...although I Love the brisuh stroke appearance on the page!

Love those backgrounds - yes, does look as if the new challenge is a bit easier. Thanks for sharing. Sorry I’m late commenting. Hope you have a good week. Hazel, WOYWW #17 x

I have a similar art journal page (prepped, but not knowing what to do next or where it's going...) on my desk too right now. I trust on the fact that it's always going to be 'something' in the end.. I bet your pages will get there too! Thanks for your visit to my blog earlier this week, happy belated woyww, have a great day! Hug from Holland, Marit #20

Yes, the year is flying by all too quickly isn't it and I really noticed the nights drawing in last evening when it was a gloomy cloudy day anyway. Oh well, it's the perfect excuse to draw the curtains, get cosy and craft!! Love your pages - your colours are always lovely. xx Jo

Wish I'd had time to play the France Papillon games (though as a non-Facebooker it would have been a bit tricky) - I really enjoy hearing the prompts here at second hand. Hope you'll find time to take these onward...
