WOYWW 466 - still no atcs..

Welcome to another desk.. well, floor space...  as you may have gathered from the title, I still haven't done anything about atcs for the anniversary that is fast approaching..
Anniversary? WOYWW, week 466... just two weeks to the 9th anniversary of this desk sharing fun we have each Wednesday.. all the details are here

I have several excuses... Bank Holiday weekend in the UK.  For once, (here anyway) it was HOT and DRY and SUNNY.... Spent a long time at Kew on Saturday (440 photos... didn't put them all on the blog! )
Had a birthday card to make (can't share yet)
Had to cut the grass
Faffed about and generally forgot about atcs..

Take your pick!
been working on another journal page...

finished last week's ALAD challenge for France Papillon's facebook group..

I CAN share some birthday cards as both have been received..

backgrounds on tissue paper using my favourite masterboard style

needed to keep this one flat, for posting
but could go a bit made with the height on this one as it was going in a parcel that was already bulky..

ok, better see if I can think of a theme for an atc or two....

Have a great Wednesday

In case you don't have time (or the inclination) to read the Kew post here's just one for you!
the newly re-opened restored Temperate House

magnificent inside and out.

I'll be playing today, but I don't have my post finished, yet. Obviously, I won't have a number till Julia wakes.

I'm in the same boat, Helen. I can't even think of a good ATC design, so I'm even more stumped than you. I still LOVE your trip to Kew last Saturday and I encourage everyone to visit your other blog and view the newly renovated Temperate House. Happy WOYWW, dear.

Yes we in the UK have been truly spoilt with the weather. Your finished and in prohress journal pages look super and your cards look fab, i'm glad i'm not the only one who can not show too much. The Hot House looks glorious, must pop on over to your post and take a walk around Kew with you.
Here's hoping our weather doesn't change too much.
Wishing you a superb week Tracey xx

I knew as soon as I went to the toilet, Julia would post! I'm behind you, as is often the case (tee hee).

I am two thirds through getting my ATCs ready, backgrounds and first stamping layer done. I'm hoping to finish them next week ready for posting. This will be the first year that I've made actual ATCs for the swap. Love the cards and journal pages. Kew looks amazing in that Bank Holiday weather! Happy WOYWW Helen, Sarah #20

I definitely can sign off on your reasons for not creating your ATCs yet. You have been busy and entering contests as well. Everything looks so great. Two weeks is plenty of time. Have a blessed day!

Hi Helen, new to WOYWW and love your cards and the journaling too. Both look really fabulous.
Good luck on the ATC front (don't know anything about that so will have to investigate!)
Have a good rest of the week.

Love the "holding on, letting go" page, as well as the hearts you've got on the go. What great cards too - the silhouette for the dream quote really set my imagination going - a brilliant combination of words and pictures. I envy you seeing the Temperate House - I'll have to stick to the Guardian photos for now!
