So it's here... the 9th anniversary of this lovely Wednesday blog-hop fun. I am sure Julia never imagined in a month of Sundays (or Wednesdays, I guess I should say) that her innocent question "what's on your Workdesk? Wednesday" would last so long...
over the years numbers have climbed and dropped, but we have made friends both virtually and in reality.
So, Julia, a big big thank you for creating this phenomenon that is WOYWW? and here's to the next year!
I have posted my atcs ahead of today, to those I agreed swaps with, so have just the one for my official swap partner (although there is always a chance that she will be a recipient already! we'll just have to wait and see when the link goes up!)
I am dithering about whether to show the atcs or not... but I don't have anything else to share today, so here they are!
in bits!
they all came from a tissue masterboard background which were then stuck onto atc sized card stock.
and finished! I have no idea how I managed to take such a bad photograph....but it's the only one I have of all of them together.
but luckily I checked before I posted them (although not before I'd sealed the envelopes)
and took some close ups
this is the most realistic view of the colour
while this must have been taken in artificial light,I think.
I used different flowers so that some of them were slightly flatter for easier posting..
the shimmer is glass bead gel and the flowers were spritzed with Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays
so, friends and co-deskers - thank you for another year of enabling and encouragement. Here's to year 10. Let's go see what else is on people's desks today.

Helen your cards all look so lovely love all the blues and teals such a pretty colour HAPPY WOYWW #9 hugs Nikki ??
We're here again and I'm loving it. I've missed this, but with my broken keyboard, it's been and still is a challenge. I simply ADORE your ATCs. Mine are SO, SO wimpy compared to yours. I bet you hope you don't get me this year!
See you at the party, dear friend.
Oops, no Mr Linky, but Ms Helen is here for us to look at her desk. I had no idea you were making so many atc's to swap with. Hey ho, another year. Good to have met you and lovely to know you are always there with a comment for me,.
Didn't understand the "trip" bit in your comment this week? Puzzled, but then it is early.
Happy Anniversary my friend.
Hugs, Neet xx
Morning Helen. happy 9th anniversary. They are great! well done.

Lovely colours on your ATCs! I know that we were swapping anyway but I'm glad you're my official PIFer, if ya know what I mean, lol! Long may our friendship continue :-D
Hugs and lots of love, LLJ 2 xxx
Lovely ATCs Helen. One might have thought with your ability Lol! the photographs would be perfect! I fear it's just the light indoors that always seems to play up when you least need it but they still look great. Happy woyww anniversary my friend. Happy woyww anniversary my friend. Angela x20x
Happy anniversary Helen, your ATCs look fabulous. It's amazing what a little difference in lighting makes! Sarah #14
Lovely ATCs, and really the change in colour from the lighting just proves all my ‘sorry for the bad light’ shots were literally because of bad lighting. I’m really an excellent photographer. Ahem. I think the badge for most WOYWWs must be for you Helen, I can’t think of a week when you havent been here for all of us, enabling, chatting, enabling, helping, enabling...you get it! Looking forward to France in Sept - I think we will fly and then hire a car, suggest we try to do that together?
Happy 9th Anniversary to you. I'm hoping to pop round to visit everyone this week....depending what work comes through my door of course.
I'm really loving the look of your ATCs and can't wait for mine to arrive now.
Here's hoping we can all enjoy many more happy years of fun and friendship.
Hugs,

Lovely ATCs - the little bit of bling is a nice touch! Happy anniversary! zsuzsa #8
Hi Helen, and have just opened your ATC- the pics don't do it justice! Awesome shimmer from those glass beads. Isn't it odd how cameras will take weird lighting pics under the same conditions indoors? Mine will do it sometimes too. Happy 9th Birthday, Have a lovely week, Love & Hugs, Shaz #6 XxX
Lovely ATC's Helen, the colours are gorgeous. Happy WOYWW anniversary,
Have a great week,

Well I think the cards are lovely and that is a lot of work. I do not do the swap and enjoy seeing what everyone makes. Amazing we are still going after 9 years. It is such a great idea,

Hi Helen, happy anniversary. Lovely ATCs - I'm sure the recipients will be thrilled. Oh dear ... I posted mine off and didn't take any photos! Ah well, I live and learn! I did have a couple left over to remind me, so all is not lost. Have a lovely week Heather x #17
Happy WOYWW 9! Those ATCs look lovely - I will look forward to receiving mine. It's always nice to get a bit of clever craftiness in the post! xx Jo

Happy 9th Helen and indeed you were right regarding the addiction...!
Love your ATC's with the big number 9's. Thank you for your visit earlier, I tried to comment on yours early morning but my internet kept dipping out, trying to make the best of the connection now.
Have a great evening Tracey #18
The ATCs are gorgeous Helen...I can't believe it's been 9 years!

Unfortunately I wasn't able to join the swap this year... your ATCs look gorgeous! I am looking forward to another year of desks and hope to be there for the 10th anniversary swap too ;) Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday and happy anniversary to you too! Love from Holland, Marit #27
Oooh gorgeous ATCs, Helen. I love the blue-green sea-like colour scheme. It's a pity photos never show shimmer very well because I bet the glass bead gel medium really does shimmer - I love that stuff!
Thank you for your two lovely comments - so glad you enjoyed reading about the show. I think I shall give woodworking a miss but seeing that burr oak board, I was momentarily tempted, I must say! It was magnificent (with a price to match...). You should try and get to a County Show sometime - it's a fabulous day out, with so much to see and do, and when the weather's nice and sunny, it's perfect. There's always such a happy atmosphere, and I wouldn't miss it for the world, which was why I was so determined to be well enough to go!
I finished my hubby's card and it's now up on my blog. He is delighted with it and instantly recognised the County Show inspiration!
Happy belated WOYWW and happy 9th anniversary,
Shoshi #29
Happy Anniversary, Helen! Thanks for your visit last week. Love your ATCs. I'm finishing mine up today. The hip issues and travel last week put me a bit behind. But they'll be ready to post by Saturday latest. The hip is doing much better. I think I've determined it's my shoes causing the issue. I hate to shoe shop but must be done this week. ugh. Hugs and Creative Blessings! Kelly #34
Happy Anniversary! Lovely ATCs! I need to make more masterboards - they are so useful! Have a wonderful week, thanks for your visit! Lindart #37
So pretty Helen! Happy 9th year anniversary to you! Thanks for your earlier visit. Dorlene #40
