WOYWW 423 - a WIP at last!

Welcome to another Wednesday desk-fest.  Julia's back from holiday and her desk count is back on track, we should all be numbered week 423 today...  you'll find the link here

I didn't have much time at the weekend (Hampton Court Flower Show was gorgeous, if too hot to enjoy fully - many many photos here if you've not seen) but I did start a new journal page (in my big A4 journal)

I'll do a full blog post about the page when it's finished (probably not till after the weekend, or at least after Saturday) so no close ups yet, but I've used gelatos for the colour on the page itself and the pens you can see on the left, for the colouring.  The stamps I've used (hidden in the background) the text stamps by Alison Bomber and the main images Jo Firth-Young, for Paperartsy.

Saturday this week is extra special.  Wimbledon beckons - Ladies Final day!!  Courtesy of my boss, of course; once again she is treating us big style!   In a big swanky corporate area right by the Royal Box (so may add a tv appearance to go with my radio one the other week!....)

I spent Monday trying desperately to find a new dress to wear, but failed, so will be wearing an old favourite... not 100% sure WHICH old favourite yet!!

So there will be photos from Wimbledon between now and next week's desk, hopefully!  Watch out for the link on social media, and I'll include it here next Wednesday.

Have a great week - I will!!

I was wondering if you would be partaking in strawberries and cream this year. What a wonderful boss you have - and how lucky to be next to THE box! Enjoy|!
Look forward to seeing the journal page revealed - especially as you have used Gelatos. Is the page sticky or anything? I haven't used them and often wonder what they would be like as a finish on something.
Have a good week, find a dress you like and just enjoy!
Hiugs, Neet xx (neighbours this week)

Jan made me LOL, of course your Woyww badge is great jewellery for swanky Wimbledon! I know you'll have a great day, you deserve it. I looked at HC photos several times last night, but I was on the phone and cannot for the life of me type and talk at the same time! My word what a fab show, and hasn't everyone managed the flowers and stuff well considering the weather. Beautiful photos. A4 is a large blank canvas for me, do very interested in your close ups to come....slhhoughbif any one has the right stamps, it's probably you!! Xxx

Oh Helen, lucky you! I shall be watching to see if I can get a glimpse of you on Saturday. Gorgeous journal page, more guilt! I was just saying to Zsuzsa that I feel guilty because I hardly ever open my journal these days. Even more guilt because I have those stamps and haven't even taken them out of the packet yet. Have a good woyww and happy crafty week, Angela x12x

That art journal page looks promising Helen! I love the color scheme you used. Oh I used to watch Wimbledon with my dad when growing up... still remember when Richard Krajcek won the mens final, it was a big thing for the Dutchies :)
Have a great week! Xo Cheetarah WOYWW #19

Oh look - just as I imagined it - the flower quote amongst a profusion of JOFY blooms! Love the fresh, bright colours and fab framing of the words with all those magical new JOFY images.

Cheeky request - any chance of adding a close-up of the page - would love to add it to my new Pinterest board with the word stamps! Only if you have a minute, of course...
