WOYWW 425

It's time for WOYWW again...the day of the week where we share our crafty spaces...
Link yours here
got an aerial shot for you today, as there isn't a lot going on..

the journal page from the previous post is still sat there...

the oxides have moved though, they are now next to the first release pile!
to the right (on top of my boxes of Fresco paints)  is a little box of supplies I am getting ready to take to a workshop at the beginning of August (yes, very prepared!)

In case you didn't see the journal page fully or don't have time to read the previous post, here's a closer look
so that's me today... got to make a wedding anniversary card for my brother and his wife, for the 1st, and I have no ideas... also I think it's their 25th... so needs to be special (must check that!)

Aerial shots must be in this week = mine also. Don't like making 'special' cards for people hope you succeed with something special. Have a good week. Anickoana

My goodness Helen, that IS organised. I don't even know what I have to take to my workshop on \Saturday - YIKES! Better find out. Thanks for the prompt.
Love the journal page - what a lovely way to showcase the Oxides, nice idea to use for a birthday card (smaller of course).
Have a good week - any Kew photos coming up?

Love that journal page Helen, love those oxides. I agree with the above comment regarding using the Poppy for the Anniversary card, add a touch of silver if it's a 25th.. Enjoy your week. Tracey x

I can see you are like me. I get ready to go somewhere days in advance. You are ready too, it appears. Still loving that latest spread and those oxides are still absolutely gorgeous. Not playing in WOYWW till next month, so no number.

Oh that journal page is wonderful..inspired use of that flower stencil. Love it. As for putting bits and bobs aside for a workshop...you have to do it, or you won't always remember in the panic of last minute!

I haven't yet worked out where to keep my Oxides. Obviously they need to be to hand, but there's really nowhere left on the craft table without making my working space even tinier with all the bits I already have lying around. Any minute now I'll be moving down onto the floor like you! Lovely to see the poppies again. It's such a feel-good spread.

Hi Helen, at least you have a 'desk' to share this week. I didn't bother - it wasn't worth it. I always enjoy seeing all the stash around your workspace too - all very nicely on hand. Your journal pages are gorgeous and good on you for being so organised for the upcoming workshop. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #28

PS: I hope you've received the book by now.

Thank you for your visit, Helen, and I'm glad you like my pantry. What you said about the sweet shop went click in my head and it took me right back to my childhood - I knew those jars reminded me of something lol!! I am pleased with how the labels came out. We are more than excited now with less than 24 hours to go before we have our new kittens home with us! We can't wait. It will be unsettling for them at first, a new place, and being taken from their mother and siblings, but we will lavish loads of love on them and I am sure they will soon settle in.
