Welcome to another Wednesday (and July, by crikey!) At the rate this year is zipping along it'll be You Know What soon... Anyway, we are reporting for duty at Julia's once more...
Temperatures are set to soar again in the southern part of the UK and the Wimbledon tennis championships are now on, so my new stamps are largely un-inked still...
There "may" be some more new stamps since last week...
some beautiful quotes by a new designer to the Paperartsy stable, the wonderful Alison Bomber of Words and Pictures (if you don't know her check out her blog; she creates such beauty!)
and some more "monsters" from Elenazinksi (which a bit like Stampotique characters, people either love or hate)
There also "may" be some more on order - Seth Apter has brought out another two sets for Paperartsy and they are just gorgeous...
I finished the journal ... it's full - very full, look! I think you could say it's bulging!
this is the very last page (it's sister which you've seen in stages of "done-ness") is here or in the post beneath this one if you prefer!
I had an exhausting but fun day last Saturday, not only did I go to Kew I then also went up to London, mainly to see the new extension and entrance at the Victoria and Albert Museum... walked for miles, and took a photo or 400....
I know several of you have been kind enough to see them already.
This coming Saturday I am off to the Hampton Court Flower Show, I didn't go last year, so I am looking forward to going again.
So there'll be more flowers, but in a different setting!!
Looking forward to seeing what you've been up to this week.

That is one thick journal for sure and you played with so many fun stamps and paints to create it to Hugs Nikki
Absolutely love that journal page, it is a beauty!
Agree with you on butterfly's blog, she does the most beautiful things and always shows great step by step instructions if you want to replicate. But I think Seth will have to be amongst my first purchases.
Thanks for the heads up on the stamp world.
Hugs, Neet 10 xx
Well done on your journal, a lot of work and well worth it.
We are going to go to the V&A next time we visit London it's been over 15 years since we last saw it

Yep, it is bulging, but oh how satisfying! It's full of lovely art and colour, what can be better! I really like the monsters, the words at left are a bit too grown up for me, but I know as soon as you use them, I'll want them too!
HI Helen, great stamps. Amazing how full that art journal is too. Incredible. Love that last page. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #11 XxX
How satisfying to have a bulging journal of art. Have a great time away.

Happy WOYWW. I am so jealous that you live close enough to London to visit so many wonderful places regularly. We went to Kew 3 years ago (first time for hubby and my first visit back there since childhood) and I cannot even remember when I last went to the V&A. Once my life is not so tied up with caring for animals, I am hoping to persuade hubby to get on a train to London a few times per year. As an ex-stash collector, I love to see all of your purchases - but I am also enjoying using up stuff in my craft room, and also giving lots away. All in hope that we will move to Spain within the next 10 years, and then I will have less to pack! Ali x #25
The stamps look great :) And the journal...? Wow... it's fantastic - LOVE the last page too - such colours!
It S a hot day down here in the south UK... but at east we have a slight breeze :) I'd love to go to Hampton Court - but not to see the flowers - though I expect that's wonderful - I'd like to go ghost hunting there lol
Have a wonderful Wednes-YAY!

Hi Helen, like those stamps, especially the wordy ones. Would love them but it will have to wait as I've just ordered an Altenew set and that's my allowance for this month gone - maybe next month. Your journal is indeed bulging. The last page is lovely. I've been over to your photo site and enjoyed looking at the photos taken at the V&A. It's more than 40 years since I last visited it. During a visit to Dundee whilst on holiday I was pleased to see that we are to get our very own V&A. It's still being built but I'm looking forward to being able to visit it - Dundee isn't so far away. Oh, and not sure how I'd react if a squirrel ran up my leg - did you stay calm? Have a great week. Look at that journal! What a sight to behold.Do you read back through it?
Am off to check out your V&A post now, missed that!

Hi Helen. Thanks for the visit. Goodness - your journal really IS bulging! Well done on completing it - I love that final page!! Enjoy Hampton Court - I'm sure there may be a picture or two finding its way to the great computer in the sky... I did indeed pop over to the blog you linked - lovely.
Take care. God bless.

WOW, Now that's a journal full of amazing inky work... I love your new stamps... & the last page of your journal... Have a happy week ahead.. Lets hope it does not get as hot as last time.. May #4
wow - look how fat your journal is - what satisfaction in filling it though!
I bought exactly the same stamps as you too!! lol!
Love the bulging journal, now time to start a new one? I never liked it when it was Hot in the UK but it's very different here, all workplaces have climate control as it would be dangerous to work in the summer heat without it, as do restaurants and bars ( you don't see the french sitting out in silly hot temperatures) - those that can take a sieste do so ( me included) and life in summer is lived in the late evening/early morning like in Spain...Midday is for air conditioned lunches - the buildings are designed to be cool at night so there are no problems sleeping, and because you spend most of the time in the shade you get a gradual healthy glow without the horrid red burnt skin that can happen if you end up too long in direct sun. I am glad the UK is having a decent summer and I hope the weather is perfect for you when you make your next trip to Hampton Court...
Super "batman" journal page. Enjoy HCFS next weekend. Thanks for the visit BJ#19
My goodness you are a busy lady! Have fun!

I had no idea what a thrill it would give me to see people picking up the stamps and using them - it's so funny and lovely seeing them bob up like this! And I've already seen the first one in action on your page... looking forward to more!

See, and I was so busy talking about my stamps that I forgot to say how impressive your journal looks all complete. I have so many on the go at once that I'm not sure I'll ever get to the end of one! Love, love your final page - brilliant colours and dynamic action.
