WOYWW 280

Hello again, thanks for all your comments last week - dinner and Evita were both brilliant! I am very lucky to have such a great boss!!

I haven't been particularly crafty since Port Sunlight and still haven't started my Christmas cards, which I really should have... my floor space today has a partly done journal page, and that's it - everything else that is surrounding it, is the normal stuff on show!!

Don't look too closely at the dirty water in the bucket!

The page on the left has been through various stages, including some Christmas trees which didn't come out very well (my black archival pad needs re-inking!) and which I stencilled back over on top again. We'll see where this page goes soon... probably.
I should be making a couple of birthday cards, but haven't had any ideas for what to do yet... can't leave it much longer though, or they'll be late!

so, that's me, short and sweet today, just how Julia likes it... Check out the links (join in, why don't you?! here at the Stamping-Ground...  you're looking for WOYWW.

Try not to stress too much about "mistakes" or things gone wrong...they usually wind up being even better when you're finished! :D Maybe have a look on Pinterest for some card ideas?? That seems to help me when I'm stumped! Have a fabulous week!!!

Happy Crafting!

Of course, as soon as you say 'don't look at the dirty water in the bucket!, we all do!! Is that from crafting or are you catching some drips?? ;-)
The journal page is coming along, though I know what you mean about things not going smoothly. I had to rip seams twice when making that tote...sigh..... Think my brains still woolly (at least, that's what I'm blaming it on!)

Hope you get all done that needs doing, Helen. May be completely blind this morning - but I actually can't see a bucket of dirty water... so, of course, I am taking no notice of it whatsoever!!
Thanks for already visiting.
Take care. God bless.

I too have some cards to make, just got that 'sticking' feeling in my head - ie not a clue where to start.
Helen, I ever noticed dirty water but if I had it would have just reminded me my pots wanted cleaning out.LOL.
Have another good week
Hugs, Neet xx

The thing is, you have to go with your flow a bit, huh, and you already now that if you aren't in the mood for making Christmas (or any other) cards, then you may as well be creative in your journal. Its taken me a lot of wasted time and material to learn this! And by the way, the dirty water is an occupational haz...dismissed immediately in my greedy eyed survey of your space!

Hi Helen, Can't even see the dirty water :) but your journal page looks promising! I'm off work tomorrow, so will play with my new goodies very soon :)

You just know that the minute you tell us not to do something that we all go straight and do just that 😃 looks like you've been having a fun time this week.

Love seeing your journals, always inspiring. I am with you re Christmas cards. I made about 8 back on the spring then ground to a halt!

You also got an honorable mention in my previous post, it was because of your photos of the poppies in London that I was able to convince my hubby to visit them! They were simply stunning and very thought provoking.

Lots going on there. Don't feel pressured about the Christmas stuff. If it gets done it does, if it doesn't: tough!
Thank you for letting me peep over your shoulder.
Have a good week.

PS I wrote two posts as otherwise it would be too long, but I did it the wrong way round. Now #26 takes you to the extra one.... oh never mind....

Keep going with your journal page. Just paint over what you don't like. Sound familiar? Your exact advice to me a few weeks ago! I have no doubt you will create something fabulous!
Thanks for the visit earlier

Well it all looks creative to me, love your journal pages, and I'm sure you'll get those C cards done in time!! Take care Zo xx 52

Love the journal page, would like to see it when complete. I have decided that the only way to get the C. cards done is to make a set number each week. I have found that I can make about five from an A3 Masterboard, anyway I am trying.
Have agreat week and happy crafting, Angela x 41

I can never get any stamp out perfectly even with a new stamp pad. I don't think I hold my mouth right. The journal is progressing nicely. I can't wait to see the end product. It's a bummer when you just can't get to things, I'm sure you'll get those cards done in time.
Have a great week,

OK, so I had to zoom in to spy on your bucket of dirty water! I would not have noticed it if you hadn't said anything! I am late to visit as I had a self inflicted deadline to achieve...#19

Hi Helen, short and sweet indeed! Being late with birthday cards has been something of a trademark for me this year - I did sit down and sort out cards right through till the end of the year the other day and felt very virtuous. However I now realise I haven't done the one for the 21st as I wanted to do 'something special'. That's my crafting sorted for tomorrow then!! Thanks for the visit, Cindyx
