...I had such fun working over the black gesso on the journal page inspired by Seth Apter for the Paperartsy challenge yesterday, I had to do another one.
This time, I used the new Lin Brown Limited Edition Frescos - well 3 of them - Hint of Mint, Evergreen and Plum... I am going to love these colours!!
I blended with both a paintbrush and a babywipe, to ensure you could still see some of the black underneath
Stencilled Nougat fresco through Lin's bubbles stencil, all over the page, turning the stencil regularly so the pattern wasn't too regular.
Stamped the long script from ESN10 in black archival, without a block, over the page.
then added the circles (ESN10) using Dolly Mix fresco applied to the stamp with a brayer so it spreads more evenly. Did both first and second generation stamping over the page.
The stamped the hearts, as shown... or at least not as shown.. I started by stamping straight on to the page, and painting in the Snowflake, but realised I was going to hide the text in the middle of the hearts, so painted over the entire hearts with Snowflake and then once dry, re-stamped the hearts.
Am entering this to Hels Sheridan's Sunday Stampers "backgrounds"

Fab background Helen, what would we do without baby wipes and brayers! Xx

Hi Helen,
Literally just back from hols with blogland withdrawal symptoms so quickly popping round my fav blogs to say hello and will be back during the week.
Was able to watch the match on board yesterday, a shaky but positive start to the season. No end on Livepundlians on board so great atmosphere and was able to imagine myself being at Anfield !

Corrr Helen, this is wonderful, love the background you made, the black really is a perfect underneathy bit... and the hearts are just delish, the little bit of text in them finishes them perfectly... GORGEOUS... Thanks for joining in with the Sunday Stamper x
