WOYWW 228 - and yes I know it's only Tuesday..

.. but Julia is still on her holidays, (lucky thing!) and posted early.... so I decided it was ok to join in early too.

I decided to share something a bit different today, although the obligatory "desk" is here too... my journal is bulging and there are still 25 pages left to use (I counted them, out of interest!) Wonder if it'll shut by then...someone mentioned they'd seen a spine cut and enlarged to cover the expanded pages but I don't fancy doing that...
you can also see the scraps box in the background (with the "reserved" sign from the first WOYWW crop at the back... and yes, it's already getting dumped on/in again! some things never change...

So, I decided to share the huge pile that should be the spare chair... it started with just a box of additional craft supplies, at the bottom there are sprays and glitters and things I don't use much (ever!) any more...

but now has become a dumping ground for my "waiting to be altered" boxes and tins and pieces... and all kinds of things for you to rummage amongst! and yes, there's another fruit box like the one I altered for my Paperartsy mini stamps - hope you enjoy your look through it all. Don't leave it untidy, will you, or I'll never find a thing....

For more desks and creative spaces, go here Julia's waiting for you!

I love looking round your crafting goodies!

That's still a few pages to do yet! Maybe you could put something heavy ( the chair) on it to flatten it a little!!!!!

My first Smash book looks like that and still has some blank pages in it! I guess I'll just keep stuffing it. That looks like a comfy chair there--we all just need big craft studios. *sigh* I think I dream of having a huge craft studio every day! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #9

I see you made it, and in pretty good time, too. I had to rummage around your chair, too. It all looks like great art fodder to me. Love that you showed it, as it puts the room in perspective. Happy WOYWW from #7, but you already know that.

Yay, good to see the Reserved Sign is still going strong, lol!!
You might have to find some of your heaviest books to weigh the journal down a bit....it looks as it may explode in a cloud of colour and delight at the moment!!

If you zoom in on the side shot of your journal it would make a very good background paper. Lots of lovely stuff going on as usual .

Fab post! Great to have so much stuff to mooch through! Funny how us women can have a pile of stuff like that, and know where everything is, yet a man can't find anything unless it leaps out of the drawer and lands on his face, lol.Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #29 xx

Your journal looks fun! I love it when they get so full. I have a bit of the closest that looks like your chair. I think it's a hazard of our "trade". Have a wonderful day!

I wouldn't cut the spine either and I have seen one with all the pages completed, it was funny because it looked like a fan at first but pages upon pages of total art greatness. yours will do it too, you have the beginnings of it already, starting to fan.

Hi Helen
oh your poor journal how is it going to survive? It is wonderful that you use it so much and I am sure it is looking amazing but it is going to struggle.
I had a poke around your box and I did tidy it up after me

Thanks for the visit earlier, Helen. I always love nosing round your Aladdin's Crafty Cave! My dining chair near where I craft becomes like yours within about half an hour - trouble is, I have to clear it all away again! Happy WOYWW! Julie Ann xx #45

Love seeing the spare chair. I have tried to keep my 'stuff to alter' down to one box full but it's always overflowing.

The bulging journal is great, we wonder if ours will look like that eventually. The chair looks interesting, it would be fun to rummage around and see what came out, a bit like a lucky dip!

The chair could be like the tray or the memory game..see if you can tell what I've whisked away and hidden!! you have quite a lot of altering to do I between working journal making and erm, filling spaces!

Hi Helen,

Oh, I love how fat your journal is! I agree with you, I wouldn't break the spine.... it just doesn't sound right.

I do see your chair so I'd say there's still "stacking room" there.

I love it when the books get all fat like that. Ruby's still has me flicking through it. I don't know if it would be the same with the spine 'fixed'.

Always love looking round your space :)
