This fortnight, for the DragonsDream TIO challenge, Trace is setting the recipe-with-a-twist and it is to use the word of your choice, along with brown, layers and die cuts. Good luck, we can't wait to see how you interpret this recipe - and no doubt we will see a huge variety of different words!
I nearly didn't get this made at all, as I was away for the weekend (see post on Sunday night sharing all!!) and should have been at Craft Club on Tuesday night, but my new job sees me home later than before, and I just didn't have time to get in, cook, eat and get out again, so managed to get a tag made after all!
Anyway, for a change (not!) I used Paperartsy Fresco paints - new colours just launched, yayy!!! I used Toffee (which looks quite orange in my photos, it isn't particularly!, and some old favourites, in French Roast and Chocolate Pudding. Don't the names sound yummy... never mind the colours.
My background - Toffee, with a stippling of Chocolate Pudding)
added some layers of tissue wrap (left over from the classes at the weekend - they were going to waste, so I gathered up loads of these snippets, it would have been criminal to leave them, right?!) which just happened to tie in with my word of choice (which is remember, in case you can't work it out!!)
The stamped word is by Dyan Reaveley from her Dylusion range.
I used some of the photos left over from the tag I did a while ago for this DT, from Tim Holtz's Lost and Found paper stack.
The die cut is also a Tim flourish die, cut in grunge paper, and painted with French Roast paint.
This close up is a bit blurry, sorry, but it was the best I could get!!

Double well done here Helen, for getting the tag finished in the first place and for using those tissue snippets. Sounds like a good recipe and I love what you've done with it.

Love this, Helen - what a great word, and the flourishes look great against the collaged background!
