What's on your Workdesk Wednesday - edition 226!

Good morning/afternoon/evening on this dry/wet/warm/cold Wednesday (hopefully that's right!) Welcome to another chance to share your workspaces, thanks to Julia's the Stamping Ground.

I mentioned last week that I was going away for the weekend just gone, I was attending classes taught by the fabulously talented Lin Brown - these are the projects we made (see here for full details of the weekend)
Do you think it's time to sort my scraps box out again?!! I do have next week off work, (it will probably take that long...) so maybe next time you come round it'll be tidy and/or empty...if I get ruthless. There are some very small scraps in here!
My "desk" today... a couple of journal pages in progress.... dirty paint water, stamp cleaning scrub mat....

a little pile of stash that I bought whilst away at the classes - which were held in a fabulous shop called the Bead Scene... stock to make you want to start beading and jewellery making that's for sure... so some of it had to come home with me! (Not that I'll be beading or jewellery making with it) It is also set in a beautiful location.

Thanks for all your comments last week, and I promise to try to visit as many of you again today as I can.

I myself have recently gone through and had a scrap wrangling. I feel better now that I've cleaned out my scraps. Good luck with yours.

Beautiful class projects! Yep I need to do the same...toss out all the small scraps. I keep only those 3" or bigger. I've just started into beading/jewelry. I find it a nice change from mixed media/card making. Happy WOYWW! Nan G #8

Glad you had a fab time at the crafty weekend..love what you made...very Steampunk indeed. Love all the beady stuff in the last pic but what on earth is that thing that looks like an upturned shell at the back of shot????

What fabulous "Makes" you did - but then with Lin things you do are always fabulous. Love her teaching. Great little stash you came home with I went to PS and saw Leandra but forgot my list for Fresco paints - doh! Still managed a good old spend though.
Looks kinda busy around you.

The Bead Scene sounds like my kind of shop, but not my bank's!!! Those projects you completed from the classes are just fabulous, Helen! As for your scraps box, I can't talk! My entire stash is totally muddled at the moment and well overdue organization since Ally Pally. I don't have as much as you; but I'm beginning to lose track of what I do own already! I do hope your week off is enjoyable; you've been working so hard you deserve it. I shall be keeping an eye on what you get up to! Happy WOYWW! Julie Ann xx #56

You could always see how high you can get the scrapbox before it tumbles?

Beautiful projects from your class! I have scrap issues, too. They seem to multiply overnight. And who can resist pretty beads? Not me!!

Happy Wednesday!

Hi Helen, what you need is simply a bigger scrap box, tip them in upside down and discovered lost treasures :) Love the projects you made at the class and the trim I can see rolled up there looks interesting. Thanks for sharing. Elizabeth x #49

Hi Helen! Happy WOYWW! Your work area looks like mine, more stuff and less of an area for creating, lol! The last time I went through my stash of painted papers I ended up keeping everything, just found another suitable box for them which is now overflowing, of course. But you never know what you will need, right? I use to bead and it is addicting. Glad you got to bring home some goodies from your class. Have a great week. Rasz #89
