I used Paperartsy Fresco paints on my tag (there's a surprise!) and Jo Firth-Young's stamps for Paperartsy.
knocked back the paint with watered down snowcap white to make it less opaque but leave some of the background showing through.
Then stamped various of the Jo Firth-Young stamps in black archival, before painting them.
close up - stamped the words amongst the stalks.
Used a white pen to scribble over the zigzags on the leaves and stalks

Wow, love this and can't believe your starting point.
Have to say that these stamps are really growing on me. I'm not a flower person but they have so much potential!!!
