I had such fun the other day with the oil pastels on my journal, that I decided to have another go - this time I used the bold hand-carved images designed by Lin Brown for the Paperartsy Eclectica series. I just knew they'd look great with the white doodling...
I forgot to take any pictures during the process, but it's the same as before, blocking the colour on and then blending them all in, I used slightly darker colours this time. I love this page and am really happy with how it came out. I did have some trouble with the photo, as it's been snowing on and off today and has got quite dark... but this one without flash, came out ok.

This is stunning Helen with the contrast between the bold colours and stamps and the white doodling xx
WOW love this Helen. Those stamps really do lend themselves very well to this technique - looks fabulous with that white, really makes them pop!!

Wow Helen, it looks even better now that I am looking at your journal page on my computer instead of my phone......I can seed all the detail now. It's such a buzz to see other people using my stamps.
