WOYWW 157

Well, what a party that was! I have just spent the whole of the 4 days of the Diamond Jubilee weekend feasting (on tv) on the pageantry and excitement of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations - despite the sometimes awful weather, how fabulous it was! The River Pageant, the concert and the moving service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's.

Another fantastic party was had last week at the Stamping Ground - the 3rd anniversary of the blog-fest devised by Julia Dunnit. Thank you to everyone who stopped by - I visited as many as I could - I think I managed over 2/3rds of you, sorry I missed some.

So with all the tv watching I haven't actually created a lot since last week!  I have however received some ATC's -3 from Nicky and one from Jo and they are all fabulous.
My swap partner is sending hers from Canada so that isn't here yet, and my swap is off to the Philippines.

Hope to get round and see what you have been up to, hope you have a good day!

Gosh, you really are doing an international third anniversary swap! Love the atc's you have received.
Yes, wasn't it great to sit all nice and warm and watch the weekend unfold - lovely to see and one thing that makes us proud to be British - nobody does pageantry like we do. (well - my thoughts anyway)
Thanks for sharing, Hugs, Neet #6 xx

It was amazing..we didn't get home till Monday night but have been glued to coverage since..even managed an ex-pat party in Spain...awesome pageantry. As I wonder round I see that WOYWWers were sending more than one ATC...so typically generous.

Hello!

I have always been fascinated by the royal family - especially since Diana and have followed it all since. I have visited London and would have loved being there during this historic time! The Queen looked beautiful and my prayers are with Prince Phillip. Wishing you a happy one!

Hello Tweeting Buddy! I don't think any of us are going to forget last weekend for a very long time. The Queen was marvellous and I hope I am half as active as her when I get to 86! Roll on to the 75th anniversary, if her Mum is anything to go by!
Lovely ATCs on your desk. I haven't shown mine as the one I sent I am not sure it has arrived. Will show and tell next week!
Have a good week!
