It's all gone Dotty.... Simon Says!

This week's Simon Says "show us some polka dots" .

I used a piece of Maya Road Chip which I gesso'd and then inked with crushed olive and forest moss ink and some cardboard "retro daisies" from Craftwork Cards which I used wild honey and rusty hinge inks.  The dots are pine tree green (memories) and brown stazon respectively.

The mini hearts from WendyVecchi from one of my new sets that came last week - sooo cute!! I just stamped as many as would fit in some scraps of grungepaper that was handy and inked them with rusty hinge ink. Stapled them in threes with Tim's tiny attacher before gluing them to the base with matte medium - the single heart hides the staple nicely!

Found some scraps of paper from the lost and found stack left over from something or other and cut some out for the centres of the daisies. Spritzed them with sunflower sparkle perfect pearl mist (which takes the ink off....maybe it wasn't fully dry...)

Stamped the sentiment (also Wendy V) on a torn scrap of paper and coloured it with bundled sage, touched some of the edge with walnut stain. Added the philosophy tag using the chain that came with the chip pieces. (and which I amazingly managed to fasten!

I tried to get some closeups but they were all out of focus, sorry!
