After my extreme bout of stash buying at the weekend (you can see the pics in an earlier post) my craft space on the floor is looking quite - empty! I actually made some extra space around me - amazingly - although unless you visit regularly you probably wouldn't notice!! Not sure what happened with that tag, it's probably already been blogged, because that shot was taken a couple of days ago - 
This one shows what's on my desk today (well,Tuesday night) - a couple of reject attempts at the "shabby chic" page of Tim's book for the challenge I'm taking part in on Mondays; whcih were meant to be for something else this time; plus a WIP part of a birthday card. Wonder who that could be for?I have deliberately left my toes in the shot cos I don't think you really believe I work on the floor!! (tee hee)
Right, I'm off to nose around you all - I think I made it to everyone last week, but if I didn't leave a comment, sorry, I tried, but I did at least visit.

I believe you work on the floor - specially as there's a table in shot - still can't get over how your blood manages to flow though! Like that nail varnish!! It's today, by the way, and really, no bother is easier!
I'd love to be able to sit on the floor and craft, can't get down there I have bad knees too! What a lot of new stash you have, lucky you!

Crafting on the floor sounds great. Trouble is if I got down there I'd never get back up!
If i crafted on the floor my OH would freak out he's bad enough with the stuff on the desk, must remember to threaten him with that next time he annoys me!
as long as you're comfy crafting on the floor then that's good! Mine just usually spills over onto the floor....

I used to work on the floor too but now that I have a portable foldable craft table for a crop I run I can put that up if I need to craft in front of the telly so dont do it much anymore - good job really as I probably wouldnt ever get up again and would just have to spend my days crafting forever...

LOVE your toenails :) And I spend a lot of time on the floor as well - despite having both a desk AND a TV table in my craft room. It's so much more roomy down there....

What you need Helen is a desk that you can lower down from the ceiling on one of those pully jobby things.

Wish I could work on the floor! Not that I'd want to mind, I just wish I could, Lol! My knees would be killing me inside 5 minutes and then I'd need a lot of leverage to get back up.

I sometimes work on the floor as well as my desk when my projects get big! It feels kind of fun when I do, like I'm a kid crafting again instead of a grown up working at a table!

Why does no one believe that you work on the floor? I do too, but, I admit, not all the time. Only for glimmer mist projects. Maybe I could show that next week on WOYWW! I also often spread out my binders with stamps on the floor.
Haven't tried the floor yet. I do a lot of standing - especially when I'm stamping.

There's no way I could work on the floor - my littley likes to go through my ribbon box and unravel all the ribbons from their spools - imagine if he had all my other craft stuff to play with! Love the colour of your nail varnish ;o)

I don't craft on the floor but I do end up putting an awful lot on the floor as I'm going along. love to know how you cope - my dogs and cats would be trying to help if I was on the floor as they do come christmas and wrapping time. great nail polish too.sam x
