Stampotique - Open Challenge - Spring - SDC #3

The first Stampotique challenge of the month, is open, so you can use any stamps you like.  The theme has been set for this by Jo Capper-Sandon and is "spring has sprung" so I took some flower stamps.  In fact, I have made 2 tags for this as I couldn't decide which to enter.

I have used bundled sage and dusty concord inks, and stamped "barrel of wildflowers" from Hero Arts on a scrap of cardstock, coloured with pencils.  I stamped the smaller of WV's butterflies on metal, and again on tissue paper that I coloured dusty concord, and cut out and stuck to both sides of the metal.  I inked the antennae straight onto the cardstock and added the butterflies on top.  The scanner has squashed them a bit, they are bent up in real life. I couldn't find a stamp that said "spring" (in ANY of my drawers, lol!) so used a 3d gel pen to write springtime and added a WV text and matching ribbon.

I used bundled sage on the second tag too, and the stamp is by Magenta which I stamped in chipped sapphire on watercolour paper and just added some pink pencil highlights.

I overstamped the tag with the WV leaf stamp in bundled sage and added the text in black.

These are both really pretty.

These are lovely Helen. I especially like the second one as I have a thing for William de Morgan and it looks a lot like his stuff.

Love them both but there is something about the second one that is specially good.

Lovely tags, Helen! Love the color combos on these, and that Magenta stamp is way cool!
