This week's Play Date challenge is lilac, pea green and white.
When I was young (yes, I CAN remember that far back, lol!) I loved the Flower Fairy drawings by Cicely Mary Barker and when I discovered stamping, I was thrilled that some of the images have been released on licence as rubber stamps by Inca Stamps. My favourite has always been the Lavendar Fairy (which is nearly lilac, after all you can get lots of shades of lavendar!!) and I have used it here to make a birthday card
I took a scalloped square mat (Craftwork Cards) and stamped the fairy in black versafine ink. I coloured her with watercolour pencils and added some glitter to her wings and the butterfly.
The edges of the square are coloured with bundled sage distress ink and I added some ribbon and a greeting and mounted it on a square white card.
I hope you like it.
