The increasingly inky and painty ramblings of a stampaholic, whilst kneeling on the floor. Yes, my knees do protest!

More Wendy Delights
After yesterday's post, I have got right back into my love for all things Wendy Vecchi and today I have done this - I coloured a Maya Road chip piece with (I think - I only did it a couple of hours ago and already can't remember!) walnut stain distress, then overstamped one of the background stamps, and made a grungepaper flower with the "pumpkin/flower" stamp. I've coloured it with broken china and faded jeans. After I had coloured it, I re-read the instructions in Wendy's book which say to stamp the backgrond on the flower before colouring it - hey ho - next time!! I had the small orange (spiced marmalade I expect) flower already cut ready and stamped the sentiment on a piece of scrap that I coloured with brushed corduroy. I have scuffed the edges with Tim's paper distresser and swiped some walnut stain along the edges. The butterfly is stamped on a scrap of copper metal I had hanging around - just the right size!!
